All those weapons are already heavily regulated. What the media doesn't tell you is that even with a "ban" no weapon can be fully banned. All they can do is move it to being classified as an NFA item under the 1934 National Firearms Act. Which requires special paperwork, tax stamps and waiting periods. Supreme court has already ruled that many times. The clinton era Ban on ARs did exactly that.

So you mentioned a few ago, the next civil war. We all know what that was about, right? a large group of Americans thought it was perfectly all right to own Slaves. And it was legal. So what was the problem? The other side said it was outrageous to own Humans. So went to war. Who was right? BUT they were ADAMANT it was great to own, and to rape, kill, do whatever they wanted with there "property" Legal, but right? History proves they were dead wrong, and so it will go with the next civil war...Hope it does not come to that.

It is a mess, you just cant prevent people doing bad things, like killing kids in school. But you might have a chance to make it more difficult..Without trampling on the Second.

And what you are forgetting is that the Second Amendment can be repealed and replaced at any time by an act of congress. So can the 1935 NFA.

The odds are slim, but it can be done.

Where does it say in the Bill of Rights that it is LEGAL to own people?

Besides, we're all slaves... slaves to paying taxing to live for our entire lives.

There is so much fire power in the public's hands, the Government would have a VERY tough time winning a civil war....THAT is what the Second is there for, to prevent the Gov. from getting too strong ....

I was trying to be funny. First you were talking about slavery and "owning" people and your next thread you said you ordered 2 and that they were legal. LOL:rofl::poke::poke:
 
And it is nice that we can talk about this subject without worry of getting arrested...America is great...Now lets figure out how to stop innocent children's slaughter in schools, OK?

Yes it can, with a 2/3rd vote and 3/4 of states. until it is, though, they remain legal.

yes it is. and if you can find that magical solution, as a father whos daughter is entering school next year, PLEASE throw it out there. Sadly, killers will find a way. Whether its diesel fuel/cow crap or a hammer, or a machette or a pressure cooker or a car or a gun, there will always be killings.

Yep, it is possible. Now if only the majority of Americans could do it, we'd probably be able to find an acceptable solution.
 
If you bake a cake and turns out all f'ed up and tastes like crap, do you eat it anyway? No, you throw it out and start over.

I say we do the same with f'ed up people.. Throw out the ones that aren't right (instead of making concessions and new laws to protect them... and allow them to breed).

I know that is harsh, but Darwin was onto something..

And go!
