Put new plug wires on the Duster. Still no start. :BangHead:
I don't get it. It started great yesterday with a f'd up rotor. :wtf:

Happy Birthday, Tim!

Lots of active FABO members have March birthdays...must be we mysterious Pisces are natural Mopar owners.

Since I'm home today with a sinus bug, I decided to do some artwork to keep my mind off feeling crappy. I did the AAR Cuda image in a variety of colors...

Man trying to finish the sun cabinet, want to use the frame of a old storm window for the frame around the plastic screen, keep breaking the corner pieces that hold it together and they stopped selling them!!!!!!!

Actually i may have abunch of them new.
As long as nobody borrowed them.

I just ordered the rest of the AMD metal I needed, and shipped it to GeorgeH....The ball is rolling.....

Got the Duster running. After a lot of poking around checking things, the last thing I did before it ran was adjust the reluctor gap. Was over.010 and I reset it to a tight 8. Is that enough to stop it from working? Thinking something is still screwy in the distributor -seams noisy. Like maybe the pickup is hitting now. Either that or the end piece of the old rotor tab is in there where it aint sposed to be. :BangHead: Gonna have to wait for the next nice day I can work on it.

You need the advice of a good Distributor guy.
There is one hopping around here someplace

Mine was goofy, advance link was a little bent. I bent it. It was stuck in reluctor plate.i took it apart to clean and check it.

Yep. I want to get the car up there. But if I have to I could just take the distributer up first. It's a parts store rebuild. Could kick myself for getting rid of the old one that may have been original...

To tight bet the reluctor is hitting the pickup. Both will be toast the pickup might work but now moisture can get in there by the "blade" on it.I set them at .012. Good news is I have parts for it!

Might have the right one for it need all the specs carb 1 or two bbl and year. Good news You can finish mudding the ceiling for a trade!
