Stop in for a cup of coffee

Forgot about Toonces, SNL was funny back then for the most part.

Thanks Ray for the happy bday thread! Bacon and cinnamon rolls for breakfast, sugar and caffeine buzz now, working tonite but if any customers give me crap (they won't) I'll just tell 'em it's my birthday don't mess with me haha!

Tell ya what.
If I get everything to check out on the Sun machine and still have vibration issues...
We will do the whole gambit on it even a leak down if you want they are easy to get to. Just bring a second fender cover I only have one.

I have them now. Just lets do this at least a few weeks before Carlisle have a ton of stuff to get done before then.

As I understand it the high side of the resistor is in play during starting. So I really don't think it's part of the problem.
At least the early ones, the one side is for protecting the ECU. I remember .5 Ohms for that.

I'd like to get it up there ASAP. Was thinking it was good enough to make it that far till I saw the rotor. :BangHead: See what happens with the distrib change...
I'll help you with some of your chit to offset your time on my car  Ceiling mud is not out of the question, but no promises on how good it will be. :steering:LOL

I always thought the .5 was start then the 1.2 was run. Have to look it up to be sure.

Interesting. I saw another post on here that said 1.2 ohms, but FSM shows .5 on low side ...
They're matched for the particulars. Go with what the FSM says..

Look at the diagram Hoppy posted. Start wire is the pink wire - resistors are bypassed during start.

So if they are bypassed, what does the 5 ohm side do?

The way I see that diagram, battery voltage is only around 12 V at start, they must not have worried about the ECU drawing too much current for those few seconds.
