Stop in for a cup of coffee

I saw some comments saying it is a custom build. Awful if you ask me. :D

Good morning, btw.

I kinda like the concept, and not nearly the worst wagon conversion Ive seen.. BUT.... pretty sure they would not have the big ugly flat side glass if it was factory. And they really hacked away the top of the quarter to fit it.

...Good Morning!

Morning. It looks like a vista cruiser roof section was added on to that challenger.

Ding, ding, ding, that is exactly what it is! I'd rather have the car they cut up. Lol

Agree.

Anyone, what would I have to pay over there for a used transmission (727) pinion, complete like in the picture?
.

Hey, if you put your return address on your secret Santa box it won't be secret any more. Lol

Im not sure what they go for, but I've seen some advertised in the mechanical for sale section. Most people call them the speedometer gear for the trans.

Tony (Whitepunkonnitro) has a good stock of parts and sells them at reasonable prices, plus he's a good guy to deal with. I have dealt with him a few times and just got some parts from him yesterday that we ordered a week and a half ago.

You need to know how many teeth that you need so the spedometer is calibrated right. They make them in different teeth for various tire/gear ratio combos.

Anyone know the cheapest place for "Inner Wheel Houses"?

I always seem to find a place that's like $30 off AMD after searching but can't really find one right now.

Try Tamraz auto parts. They have a local warehouse 45 minutes from me, and if I pick up parts there, I don't have to pay shipping (which can be over $100 for some body parts). If they have one and the shipping is too much, let me know if it would be cheaper for me to pick it up and ship it to you. I have also found that if you call them, they will give you a cheaper price than they advertise - worth a try.

They carry AMD, Goodmark, and some other brands. Here's a link to their web site. there are two sides to the web site the "regular one" and the ebay one. Look on both if you can't find it on one of them, or call them.

Thanks, Karl!

So $30 for gear and housing vs $60 over here ... Used.

I think the gears go for $30, then you need the housing... #-o

I listed those threads so you could get an idea of what they go for, some of them were already sold...

Maybe try putting a thread in the 'parts wanted' section...

Thanks Kuda, looks like they only have dart wheel houses, and of course, $150 a pop. I don't think I'm gonna be able to snag a deal on this one.. haha

Try calling them and see. Like I said, they sometimes give better prices over the phone.

They had Challenger fenders listed for $350, and I got mine for $288 (Goodmark) out the door with tax when I went to pick it up....

I'll give it a try when the time comes. I'm debating if I only want to buy the inners or if I should also go for the outers..

Good morning...sunny and mild here, just thinking a short bike ride is a good idea...back is tight and achy today. Had a great time last night at the Festival Of Lights. Ten bucks a carload, and you can spend a couple hours there's so much to see. We brought our own marshmallows for the roasting pits and hot chocolate. Live Christmas music and Santa was there. The driving part is 3 miles long, and the walking trails through the woods have animals made of lights all around. And most of what you see is Christmas themed not just "holiday."
