Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Hi guys. Just a quick crawl by before I climb back into bed. The triple antibiotic combo my Doc gave me over the weekend finally got ahead of this thing. The fever broke a couple of hours ago.

Lungs are still half filled with fluid and my rib cage feels like a truck ran over it from all the coughing.

Still at home, maybe after another 24 hours with some real rest I will start to feel alive again.
I wish you well Dave.

Glad you are feeling (slightly?) better.
Take care of yourself.

We've been getting them bad down this year down here as well. I've some doubts its just skeeters - maybe they are and might be no-see-ums and even chiggers mixed. Yup - same thing - getting through or under clothing. In any event I've had enough. Bought a can of the pyrethrim stuff and started a regimen of spraying it on the clothes the day before. Its supposed to be allowed 2 - 4 hrs to dry before wearing.

I just saw 15 mins of the Weather Channel about HC Florence.

They are wrong. It isn’t going to strike central NC. It will hit Norfolk VA and run straight up the Chesapeake bay in slow motion. The models always fail to take into account surface friction when the steering winds are absent. There will also be a high pressure form near Lake Erie that will hold the storm where it arrives for several days.

Maybe I’m still half delusional from being sick...but mark my words and be prepared from Norfolk to Philly. This one is coming right at you.

Back to sleep...

Very few nasty bugs and even fewer nasty storms make living on the west coast a joy. Just don't talk about overdue earthquakes, ok?

Hope you feel much better Dave when you wake up.

You hate to think of wherever the storm hits, the harm it will cause.

The Fury sure was comfortable, rained off and on but an easy 8 hr trip. Kept going faster than I wanted to!

I was careful. It felt so good....I had the Fury up to 97 briefly on one lonely stretch, but I don't like to push it, probably will be the only time it happened. For a small block it was still digging.

Yes he did, normally he has to stay at home but I didnt want to leave him!
Well time for bed, it was a great day for a Mopar road trip.

Second, shoulder and neck put me to sleep at 7pm last night..... hope to get board and tired soon ..

Up early shoulder was the problem.
Been two weeks since I dislocated it, feels better everyday.
Some nights just can't get comfortable.

I've actually spoken to a Marine who fought that battle.
Very humble person.
Guy across the street joined the marines at 16 in WWII, did the pacific, then Korea, Then early Vietnam. Amazing he pulled through was shot at the Chosen campaign that's all I know. He wrote a book that will be released upon his death. Should be interesting.
