You may know, if you've poked around my website, although I knew people in the city that day they all were OK. The only person I personally knew who was killed was on flight 93.
Story of a "Town & Country" '67 Plymouth Barracuda Coupe
Joe was often at club meetings and involved with the newsletter. He wrote some great stories of his visit to England and the Morgan factory. Wish now I had saved them.

I was going to hit "like" but that's not correct. Such a sad story. I remember it well. It was horrifying enough just on tv. I can't imagine in person.

Its hard to have lived in the area and not know someone who was in Manahattan if not at the WTC complex.

That was a messed up day. I was in Kuwait at Al Jabber air base got off of night shift and saw the tv one and thought it was a movie. Then all hell broke out on the base. No one had any idea what to do. The wife was on LI where we lived and saw the smoke from the towers and grabbed the kids and hunkered down. I came home about two weeks later and had to play escape from McGuire AFB my base was supposed to pick me up and could not due to being activated to do security. Could not find any way home no rentals not even a U haul available. Found a Taxi 7 hours later to take us for $500 and will never forget going across the GW bridge and seeing the site still smoldering. Was home two days then right back for another month. That ride was hell If I knew I was going back it I would have just stayed there.

I was in Algebra class, first class of the day after room. My teacher was just getting ready to turn off Good Morning America when they went live to the first tower and the smoke bellowing from it. We watched for a bit and he again went to turn it off( no remotes back then) when the second plane hit the second tower, in real time, right in front of us. You could hear the breeze blowing from the AC vents it was that quiet in the school. About 2-3 minutes after the second tower got hit, my buddy leaned over, pointed to our math book which had a picture of the pentagon, said "they've hit our money, next they'll hit our defenses". I waved him off, glued to the TV, then it happened, the pentagon got hit and everyone in that class, turned staring at Ryan, a lot with tear laden faces. It was that moment right there, I decided to join the military. I wanted to punch bin laden in the face personally.

Prayers to this day go out to all those who lost loved ones and who suffered at the hands of evil.

I keep forgetting that FABO dumped the option to go to peoples 'homepage' with one of the big format changes. Maybe the same one that f'd up my avatar.

Wow Ray you and your wife have sacrificed a lot yourselves.

We are getting our last chances to talk to WWII vets. The one I met in Atlanta and I tracked down near Myrtle Beach, what a role model he was. He passed on a few months later, he missed his wife so terribly, it was time for him to go.

Definitely going to see some rain from the hurricane, but so far not going to be much different than what we have already been getting. @MOPARMITCH -You ready for this? -you could be in for a lot of water.
Where is David now? I know he left the coast...

Well, there he is now...

Did you ever see Robert Benson's video with your little buddy's relative?
He sits in about the same spot too, until after the checkered flag.

66 Dart. Any photos of the outside. I have probably seen it. That trip looks like fun for sure.

Yikes! Just had a Duster flashback! LOL
Did you get floor pans? I trimmed mine to shape and then set a cinder block on to hold down. Got under and traced the frame on it with a sharpie. Took back off and drilled all the holes. Then back in place with the block on it and start welding near center working out...

Not on his you tube channel and I can't remember if they have any on website. I think they may have FB page.
Here's a few I have saved on my hard drive. I know there's better more current ones somewhere..
