More corporate BS...and explanation of what it really means. Email from today...

“Folks,

I'm pleased to introduce you all to *** our new office admin/jack of all trades here in Philadelphia. She started today and will work to get this house in order - starting with me! (Read: I can’t keep my **** straight)

I'd also like to advise that we will be making a couple of transitions in the clinical/regulatory area in the coming weeks. VP *** is going to transition out to an hourly ad hoc consulting arrangement at the end of this month (Read: he was canned and scapegoated and we won't use him except when we absolutely need to to cover the **** he knows that we forgot) and we will be engaging *** part time as a reg consultant to replace outsourced *** and also engaging a CRA/clin ops person to help back fill *** and *** roles (Read: 3 part timers are cheaper than a VP and the other consultants)

This next 12 months is of critical importance to the company (Read: we are being squeezed by the investors and markets that are on to us and our BS) and we are trying to put in place and rationalize some positions (Read: we don’t know if we actually need you, so make yourself useful and convince us otherwise) to ensure we are the resources we need to succeed. We are very excited about our progress and we have a number of things on our plate, so it's all hands to the wheel to get this done. (Read: row faster slaves).

Many thanks,
***”

Geez. Why do you keep torturing yourself for them?

You going to have a heart attack or something...I'd walk away....
I’m not going to die from stress. And I would be a fool to walk away from a $150k pay off to go away. I’m just tired of the waiting game and want it to be over...and I won’t believe their BS along the way either.

It’s just a stupid game that I don’t want to play. But I will for the sake of my family and what the severance could mean for our future. It would be foolish to act rashly out of frustration.

Wow that is a sorry effort of a memo. Gotta love all the clichés....Jack-of-all trades, get this house in order, a number of things on our plate, so it's all hands on the wheel. It would fail 9th grade English.

Got out of work and my car wouldn't start... :mob:

The battery was good, lights worked, it seemed like the factory security system engaged and would not let it start... :BangHead:

I called one of my boys to come get me... In the meantime I fiddled with the radio and got in the diagnostics and shut off the alarm and security system while waiting and it finally started... Then I called the kid and told him not to bother as I got it started....

I hate those car alarms, both factory and aftermarket eventually seem to malfunction after some time... :icon_fU:

Dang, how the hell did they get 70+ cows in that trailer?! When I worked for a cattle ranch in highschool, we had a double deck 53 foot trailer, fitting 20 on each deck involved a lot of pushing and cows being packed like sardines!

They were illegal Mexican cows all crammed in there....
