Bounce that against the factory service manual mine had discrepancies drove me nuts when I re wired the engine compartment.
Oh he was shaking his head on a couple things. Lots of cut wires from all the other speaker systems this car has had.
He'll clean it up, just want the oil and temp gauge wired in and working.

What do you use to shine the tag up??
Never dull, you don't want it really shiny just like a piece of bare aluminum. Usually shine it then tumble it quick or hit it with walnut shells in the blaster very lightly. You can get tags made up if you want one. One guy stamps them another engraves them you want the stamped ones. Think they are $35

I use that too. Just looked in the service manual I have, and found a pic of the dash and everything. Is there a pic showing the wiring setup??

Not that I have seen, just the schematics. The temp and oil should be a straight shot to the sending units and gets its power from the IVR. I might have senders NOS from that lot I got from Canada. Autopar

That kid I got the car from is awesome he dropped off a repop owners manual, a Haynes manual on my truck and a couple of motors manuals one a repair book the other the parts and labor book, and a freaking nos bushing for the carb linkage! He would not take a dime for them, gave him a RAC tune up set and a sun card for his 70 GTO.

Hey All... Just a quick stop by...Gotta head out for my weekly whippin.....Be Back Later....

Cool! Coming from the old school general repair world I had the mind set that you fix/replace something and set it to factory settings. If it wasn’t or didn’t seem right you did something wrong or something else is in need of service. It’s a bit different in the “high performance” aftermarket. And with this fuel injection being able to control fuel and ignition with a push of a touch screen it’s a completely different world! Easier but confusing and intimidating! At least for this old dog!

The secret Mitch is not to do anything that requires a whipping. Check Hoppy and I ...we don't need a whipping
Not to sure about that
