No...I do not think they were painted from the factory. 68 Dart, Bare grey fiberglass. I rebuilt mine with the same kit, and replaced my heater core and restored my blower motor. Before I assembled mine, I sprayed the cleaned cases with Clear Acrylic Enamel.... @ZMan67S

For a predicted 50 degree day... We are there now. Time to get busy. Need to pull 2 wheels off the Magnum Clean up corrosion and clear coat before I get new tires this week.

Get er' done. I have a bead leak on one of the chrome clad wheels on the wifee's Buick. She is busy at work so I'll have to wait to get it fixed.
