Stop in for a cup of coffee

I will have to empty the bag every 1 1/2 to 3 passes to get them up...

My mower is a mulcher... But I have too many leaves to just mulch and leave... (pun intended, Leaf/Leave...)

I live across from a forest preserve and have a fully wooded lot with lots 'o trees....

Luckily, most of the leaves are down, I need to get them up before the rest fall and make it deeper and harder on the mower...

Got it.

10 is nothing, surprised it gets above 2k RPM

It does have some pep... When I test drove it in wet weather, it would break the tires loose pretty easy....

But I don't think that curve is right for the engine... I have a few spare distributors new out of the box to try and see how it runs.... Then after we see what it likes, we can let you know what we need...

It doesn't seem to have any trouble above 2000 RPM that we've seen...

That makes sense if its at 24* at 750 and 34* around 3000*

Just might be harder starting and be a little less efficient at idle depending on the cam. Might be hard to use the vac advance early too.

If he’s having the FiTech control timing then the distributor needs to be completely locked out. It also needs a particular distributor. As I understand it the MSD pro billet or a clone. @Johnny Mac can confirm/clarify that. I bought the system from him when he was with Pace.
Morning @MomsDuster and @halifaxhops .
Correct, the OEM, and OEM type (pertronix) have limited success with providing a clean tach signal. A "pro billet" (msd clone) is best for timing control. Or a little hei, or cdi box, can be used without.
The "Mallory" or "Pertronix" types dont do too well.

Any of these, besides the "economy" titled ones.

I posted 1/2 inch of snow, I was off a bit... over an inch. Have company coming so plowed the driveway so they don’t drive off the side. I think winter is here

I think so Pete.

Looks like it flurried here last night.
Morning TJ
Was heavy frost on my car when I got out of work at 11PM. Was 28F

Hey any chance you have any blown control boxes? Looking for a few more.
With you asked a few months ago. The stripper Duster had 2. PO had all the electronics doubled - spare box, resistor, regulator. All mounted, so he just had to swap wires. I left them, cause I could see the black filler goo running down the inner fender.
Tried that concept once as a kid to correct mistaking the cinammon for chocolate making a float.
I concluded it was impossible to dilute cinammon, no matter how many times I drank half the glass and added more milk.
I like Cinnamon
No snow here from overnight... Hopefully I can find some time to get some of the leaves up... The grass is completely covered in some places and if I don't get them up before more fall, it will be overwhelming to the lawn mower....

I might run the mower again today. I have managed to keep up with mulching the leaves. I think its been at least 3 years since I had to bag them. Did the Seafoam the other day. Want at least get the bowl off carb and maybe a new fuel filter. Not sure if I will change oil now or wait till spring. Will only get a couple hours on it yet this season.

@toolmanmike
Mike do you know if FABO staff ever put the calendar together??
Of course I'm sure it won't compare with the abilities of @Ddaddy!!
I thought @Ddaddy was working with Joey on a calendar, but combined for all the For ****Only sites

I would wait till spring so you will have it fresh to go for summer....

Karl like you have tons of leaves. Several oak trees in out front and back yard. Lucky for me have a creek and 30 acres of trees behind us (not mine). I have a rider mow them into a pile (have an acre) and rake them. Into the big wheelbarrow and dumped in the woods. Have to do it 3-4 hours three times. Not my favorite job.
