So, I got the engine compartment bars in, finally took the doors off...so much easier now, reversed my pedal assemblies so they can be hung and made a template to mount them to the dash bar. Firewall is next.

I am starting another 318 build to use as valiant propellent. I was way inconsistent with measuring and i learned to NEVER use snap gauges and a micrometer. A bore gauge is the ONLY way to measure an engine.

He is still on a boat floating around. He still swings thru every now and again. Busy guy for sure. He and his family stopped by our shop last summer for a visit. Good people.

Stephen and myself have been working on projects, seems he has many more than me, or i only concentrate on only one. Both of us are on youtube, him as himself and me as Franks Garage.
Pretty siezed up this evening. Worked on cleaning up firewall and trying to figure out how to fix my mistake. Put the bulkhead in the wrong spot, its buried withing the heater housing at this time. And no firewall left to move it. I think i have a plan. And there it is. Too bad i cant get back to it until i return from vacation.
So, on Thursday when I got here I rode the bike. My Yamaha. Soon as I got on it it went down the road I noticed it had two flat tires. Wtf? My brother-in-law has had the bike at his place while I was in America and was riding it. Don't understand why Vietnamese men don't understand mechanics and the like. So I went and aired up the tires, drove it where I wanted to go. Rear tire was flat again this morning. Looked at it. I don't see any obstructions in the tire. Aired it up again and went to breakfast. Must be losing air very quickly because it was flat again. I'm now at the Yamaha dealer having them check my bike out and probably install a new rear tire. Also, I was told that my brother-in-law had my bike serviced just last week before I came in to Vietnam. I don't think so. So I will have them check it over completely including the engine oil. 
So, here's the rest of the story on my Yamaha. Took it to the Yamaha dealership because they usually work fairly cheap. They checked it out. I knew it needed a rear tire because it wouldn't hold air, but he also showed me how the front tire was just about completely worn out. So, it needs two tires, an air filter, and an oil change. He showed me the dipstick on it. It had zero oil in it. Also needs front brake pads. Then when they are finished with all the work on the bike check everything out and adjust everything properly. They will wash the bike properly. He said it would take 2 hours, so I hailed a cab and came back to the house for a while. He told me the bill will be 2.8 million dong. That's a lot of money for an average Vietnamese person. Approximately $115 USD. Lol. I love Vietnam. But I don't think I'm going to let anybody in my family keep my bike while I'm away again..

I'm quite sure that was never done. Had zero oil in the crankcase. Go figure huh?Can only imagine how bad it was before he had it serviced.
Now I'm working on trying to fix the f ups they have on the swimming pool here. Leaking water, PVC joints leaking and the like. Filter installed wrong, wrong kind of chlorine, you name it. I should be getting a little more love here. Lol. Kkkkkkkk

They actually did not use it while I was gone. They just let the water go stagnant in it. They cleaned it and put new water in it just before I came back. The pool itself where it was done new was not leaking. All the leaks were in and around the pump and PVC system
if you want something done right, you gotta do it yerself
he has a good channel. He must live in a humid area because I saw the cars in the yard he was at.... I'd start twitching if I had to deal that kind of rust and corrosion.
