    Hard heads...

I've worked in parts for about 10+ years now. And I will say. That 8 hours a day of dealing with customers can wear on you. You can really only hear so many stupid ideas in one day without it getting to you on some level. Over the years I learned one very important thing. Some people are open...

Cruise night cancelled, too many dumbass's

We had a similar problem over 10 years ago here. There was a "street machine weekend". Everyone cruised up and down our local "strip". Lots of burnouts. Revving engines. Little races through the lights. Cops were handing out hundreds of tickets. Stunting. Dangerous driving. Etc etc. But I rarely...

    Gripe: "Restoration." Yea right.

To me restoration means it was a car that was in a not driveable condition. Restored to a driveable condition. A car that is "restored" should need absolutely nothing to pass a safety, be insured and registered and driven daily. That said. There is "levels" of restored in my mind. Complete...

    rev n ator system?

I got the ecu. Running it with a reman distributor and msd coil right now. I do have the firecore distributor. Just haven't curved/installed it yet. I like it. Cleared up some random miss I had at idle. Runs strong. I'm looking forward to the new distributor as well. Hoping it runs even stronger.

    Cutting out

Does it cut out or miss above 4k? Or is it just right around a certain spot it does it then it clears up? If it's something like that it could be too much advance coming in too fast. So it only screws up in a small spot, then its fine at the higher RPMs. I always double check fuel flow cause it...

    Cutting out

This. And timing. Also have you checked fuel flow? You might be experience fuel starvation at higher RPM. Is this a new problem? Or first time taking the engine that high?

    Frustrating trip to NAPA yesterday

Haven't. Never had a magnum motor. They are the only felpro numbers I could find though. Felpro says they are an OEM replacement of better quality.

    Holley Brawler Carb

Isn't that just a rebranded quick fuel? Slayer series I think? From back when Holley first bought quick fuel, but wasn't selling them under the holley name yet.

Might be able to find an old set of 273 adjustable rockers on the cheap.

    Edelbrock heads: Adjustable rockers needed?

That's kind what I was trying to say, but in a nicer way I guess. Maybe he just doesn't have the money right now and its his daily car, needs to get it back up and running. I can understand that. But yes. To put it bluntly. It doesn't make sense to buy upgraded heads just to run stock valve...

    Edelbrock heads: Adjustable rockers needed?

If you go with roller rockers. Call mike a B3 and get one of his geometry kits. Your valve train will thank you.

    Edelbrock heads: Adjustable rockers needed?

Well the thing to remember about stamped steel rockers is that they are never a true 1.5 ratio. In fact some have speced at 1.45-1.4 or lower. I think lowest someone saw was down in the 1.3X range. So you will lose out there. I've never in person seen someone use stamped steel rockers on an...

Ahh missed that. When you said 5.2 I just thought 318 LA not 5.2 magnum. Try - VS50419R https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/fel-vs50419r/overview/make/dodge
