    360 Magnum Build

A LOT OF MISSINFORMATION HERE..... HERES RIGHT OFF THE TRICK FLOW WEBSITE. NO YOU DONT NEED TO MESS WITH THE MAGNUM OILING. YOU CAN STILL USE LA STYLE INTAKE AND VALVECOVERS. JUST NEED TO USE HARLAND SHARP ROCKERS. Magnum engines must use Harland Sharp S72025K (1.5 ratio) or S72026K (1.6...

    1998 360 Magnum or 1965 273 cu in

Id keep the 273. You can perk them up but won't have the tire shredding torque of the 360. Your wheel arches are pretty narrow for any tire back there and the 273 with its manifolds sits nice in there. You can go magnum exhaust on the 360 and clear most everything under there but you still have...

    1964-66 A body Gen 3 motor mounts

Been reading a lot but still can't come up with a solution for motor mounts. Is everyone making their own mounts.? Seems from older threads some outfit used to make them but no longer does. I'm building a 66 barracuda using a 2007 5.7 with a Ford T56 Magnum on 17" magnum 500s. Using SRT 300C...

    MPG build 360

    I ran a stock ‘79 - 360 in a heavy-ish B body, specifically a ‘79 Magnum w/a 904 & 2.76 gears on 235/60/15’s. Stock camshaft. Then I added a OEM iron 4bbl. intake and a 600 AFB, ignition was a MSD, junk yard distributor, dual exhaust @ 2-1/4 off of the stock manifolds, the air cleaner was a ‘72...

Stock 360 Upgrades for Crusher Cuda?

If you have 360 exhaust manfolds You may want to consider just porting them as well or find some cheap truck or magnum manifolds since you’re already planning on grinding out the heads anyway. It would save you a chunk of money, not to mention the hassle and frustration of installing headers in...

    B & C body 360 manifolds

...Spitfire headers on my '66 race car and they fit great, but, there again, manual steering. I never got around to trying the later Magnum manifolds. Some models are supposed to work good, but, someone else with first hand experience will have to comment on them. I guess to answer your...

    1998 360 Magnum or 1965 273 cu in

I am in the process of slowly changing my 1965 more-doors dart 270 from a 3 speed manual to a 4 speed 833. Last week I dropped of the dismantled 273 parts at the machine shop to be measured to determine a course of action. My car's odometer says 32K miles, the machine shop owner says the...

    Magnum dyno videos

The Base is the 300hp crate engine which is a stock 5.9l Magnum with a 4bbl intake M1 dual plane and 750 holley and headers. Seems about right with his 288 hp with beer barrel and manifolds. 300hp with headers imagine 4bbl intake for another 10-20 hp. (The mod is eddy heads air gap and a Comp...

What’s a fair price for magnum manifolds?

I’ve been trying to find a set of 5.9 magnum manifolds to go on my 340 and into my 65 Dart. I found a pair however the yard wants $65 apiece for them. That seems high since I found another member who lives about an hour and a half or two hours north of me who said I could have them for $20...

    5.9MAGNUM EXH MANIFOLDS

The 1964, 65, and 66 273 manifolds are smaller inside than the A body 340's. And these early A body exit more downward to clear the firewall where the 340 ones exit more back and may interfere on the firewall. I had around 3 sets of 340 A body manifolds but they went "POOF" over the years. One...

New 1963 Dart Member, 2nd Mopar.

Hi Everyone, I am new member with a 1963 Dodge Dart GT. Running 904 and 225. I have a 5.9 360 Magnum to swap in with a B&M Built 727 Transmission. Budget cylinder heads for a 318

The use of magnum cylinder heads for a budget build 318 has been suggested many times, but doesn't the use of the magnum heads require the use of magnum only intake manifolds? What would a good dual plane intake cost? Is there one that is preferred for use with the magnum cylinder heads?

    360 Street/Strip Cam?

Use magnum manifolds pointing forward. Cobble together a cheap ebay turbo kit. You could get the power number required for a couple grand without messing with anything else. I was half joking before but I'm also somewhat serious. Except for nitrous it's probably the cheapest route. Your biggest...

    High flow exhaust Manifolds?

Interestingly the only factory manifolds they didn't test on that 300 Magnum, were Magnum manifolds. Wonder why?

New trucks don't sound like old cars - why?

Well I cannot tell a difference in sound compared to any other modern EFI vehicle, but they certainly do flow great. IMO even the small outlet manifolds flow "as good" as the "good" 340 manifolds. The large outlet Magnum manifolds easily surpass them.

    Engine swap 318 to 360

If you use the van 727, the governor will be wrong. If you change the rear gear ratio, and the governor is currently correct, then it will be wrong. The TV pressure can be adjusted to compensate for just one ratio either way, but the result is not always acceptable. This is a great swap; I've...
