Opened up the crate today. Yeah, some assembly required.

I picked it up from the truck terminal yesterday. The crate had a little damage but it’s probably fine. Going to try and assemble it and put the car on it over the weekend. I’ll report back with my thoughts for anyone interested.

Well you’re certainly helping save my car. My dash frame has a ton of rusted holes and bondo in it. Would take forever and a pain to fix it.

What do you guys think? Prices seem similar. I’m putting this on a 65 Valiant. The Dr Diff kit can add the upper ball joint adapter sleeves. The Mancini kit looks like those aren’t needed. I have no direct experience with either company but both seem to get good mentions here.

Isn’t hot rodding about doing things different? Nothing new about stuffing the engine out of one thing into another. I know I personally puke whenever I see an LS in a Mopar, but I can respect the idea.

Hard to beat a Ford 9”. I’m using a Ford 8.8” in my 65 Valiant, super easy to shorten and comes with disc brakes.

Definitely agree on the broken exhaust studs. I’ve done them twice now on my 2010 Ram. I used the trick of welding a nut to the broken stud in the head.
