I've got a 64 Valiant and am wondering if the sending unit registers full at high resistance or low resistance and what ohm rating gage it requires. Any input is greatly appreciated.

...for the most part. We've got a couple of minor interior issues to iron out, double check fluid levels and the like, maybe a little carb adjustment, and we're ready to roll. I'll get plates on her this week and give her a good shake down before we drive to Columbus for the Nationals next...

Purchased the car and PO assured me a title existed - which turned out not to be the case. We're just about done with the rebuild and I need to get registered. Any help would be appreciated.

    Seat upholstery issues

All of the stuff is at the upholsterer's place right now, to which I don't have easy access. I did talk to him a minute ago and he explained that the covers for the backs were inches shorter than they need to be, and the covers for the seats did not reach the backs. I've got a call in to...

    Seat upholstery issues

I'm restoring a '64 Valiant and have '65 Dart bucket seat cores. I bought on Ebay what was supposed to be '64 Valiant upholstery and it does not fit the Dart cores. Would the bucket seat cores between the two years / models have been different? Also, I'm having trouble finding upholstery for...

    Front bumper mounting

I've got a 64 Valiant and need a description or (preferably) photos of how the corner front bumper brackets mount on the fenders. I've got to believe there is some combination of hard and soft washers to prevent the brackets from gouging the paint. As always, any help is appreciated.

    Hp 273 photos needed

This is Mopar red from Mancini. It did take multiple coats to cover well but (judging by the headache it gave me) it's good paint.

    1964 Signet 200

We got a ton of work done this weekend. Between Friday night and Saturday we got the entire car blocked out in 400 grit and then re-masked the car at the radius blends between the body and the door jambs, etc. Sunday the car was wiped down with wax and grease remover (four times at least) then...

    '64 Valiant door locks

I've seen reproduction door / trunk locks for '66 Valiants and up, but have yet to find any for my '64. Any ideas as to what the difference is? The only locks I've been able to find listed for a '64 are $300 NOS. A bit pricey for me. Any suggestions for another source?

    1964 Signet 200

Over the last couple of weeks we finished the body work, got one more coat of filler primer on the car, got the whole car sanded in 320 grit, remasked everything, and sprayed the jambs, rockers, etc. with sealer, color, and clear. This week we'll tape lines at the radius blends where we shot...

    1964 Signet 200

We used 1/2" tube because we figured it wouldn't interfere with the head liner but still be fairly rigid. There were two braces added, the one that is being welded in the photo and you can see the other just to the right (towards the rear of the car). We did our best to bend the tubes to match...

    1964 Signet 200

We're in the process of blocking out the Valiant for one more coat of filler primer before sealer and paint. It seems the car was dented on the roof and the material was so flimsy it would not be sanded flat...we decided to weld in some 1/2" square tube to stiffen it up. That seems to have done...

    1964 Signet 200

The motor, transmission, shifter, and drive shaft all went in pretty smoothly. We got some additional wiring and plumbing done (had to use a temporary radiator from my friend's Duster) and got the car running. Fun. It's got a pretty aggressive cam, sounds snotty as hell under high revs and has...

Dual exhaust on an early 273

We're going to put dual exhaust on my 64 Valiant which has a 273 with stock exhaust manifolds. Does anyone make after martket dual exhaust kits? Does anyone offer only head pipes? Then we could get past the fire wall and fabricate the rest. Does anyone offer a single exhaust setup at a...
