Trying to build power....225 step by step help

You know normally Im not one to really care much for originality on these cars but I'm with Rob on this one, this car needs a 100% stock restoration. These days E-bodies are worth more when they keep their slant sixes vs v8 swapping them. I'm not sure about what modifying the slant would do...

    about a bad buyer Bigboy68

Good advise. If you can't afford it, you can't afford it. Don't go shopping around and asking others to be your payment plan. Funny how you seem to have forgotten your dealings with me.

    about a bad buyer Bigboy68

Its hard to believe your story when nobody ever comes to your defense. Seems a little odd that so many people would have a problem with one person in particular.

    about a bad buyer Bigboy68

Oh of course. Good old superd%ck426. He's been causing problems here for almost 10 years now and yet he's still here? Thats part of what made me take a 3 year hiatus Edit: He's actually been a problem here for OVER 10 years.

How do i make my mopar a daily driver??

Sounds like North Carolina winters. You want to know how to make a carburetor just as reliable as fuel injection? Take the time to set the choke correctly and then drive it every single day. Seriously that's it. Take it from somone who's done it. The more frequently you drive old cars, the...

Offensive to sellers but have people gone over the cliff on Car values

Just wait for the economy to crash and things will correct themselves. Remember, at the end of the day these cars are toys, not neccessaties. When the economy is up and people have money to blow on things like mopars, boats and anything else fun but not essential that drives up prices...

Anyone ever swap in a V6 into their Abody?

Not a V6 but someone here a few years ago put an srt4 neon motor with the turbo in front of a 904 in an altered wheelbase dodge lancer. I thought that was a pretty sweet project.

    Im a Fuc#ing Thickhead!!

It's ok, 3 months ago I did a break job on my truck. I went to go throw all the old parts in the scrap bin and I was noticing how great one set of my old shoes looked. I had a hunch so I went and pulled both wheels and drums and sure enough on one side I pulled the old shoes off and then some...

To paint or not to paint?

Dont apply to slants either, they came red in the early to mid sixties and switched to blue and stayed blue till they ceased production. Cranks were forged fro 1960-1976 and cast from 1977-2003 when crate motor production ceased. Dont quote me but I think all truck engines were red.

    explain me backfire :

Because the fuel condensates on a cold engines intake runners and ports and on the cylinder wal and piston crown. If that fuel is condensated its fallen out of the mixture. Therefore the mixture is lean. Anyone else care to add to that explanation? Im still groggy this morning lol:coffee2:

If its a 198 or 225 look at thehose going from the water pump to the head, there should be about an inch of hose showing between the clamps. A 170 the clamps will almost be touching.
