    Why on this site

I think more specifically, it's only in parts of Canada occupied by those cheese suckin surrender monkeys, no offense. But I'm with ya Adam, I think it's through the advertising. I just find it strange that somehow the advertising becomes regional and not the same (standardized) for the site...

    Why on this site

I haven't been on here in for evvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrr but when I read stuff like this it makes me want to visit alot more often. It has to be a Canuk thing! I disabled my pop up blocker, firefox, everything I could think of and nothing. Try to talk to that socialized GM run gov't you...

    Hello all, Im Back again

Billy, I know your in Missouri but my buddy is a body guy who does moon lighting out of our garage. He's one of the best in this area and does the type of work you have all the time. I know he would do what your talking about for much less than that. I wanna say at least half that but...

340 mopar, how's that tunnel ram working out for you? I am thinking about changing over but don't know anyone running it. I'd appreciate any input you have, thanX.

People on Ebay piss me off

Sequence #, order #, date built, are the only shady areas here. Everything else involves trim packages, paint, and set up of the car etc. So an honest #'s matching FENDER tag should have the proper sequence #, order #, date and where it came off the line. But to more accurately answer your...

People on Ebay piss me off

It's a body code tag, which doesn't have the vin # on it, so if I had a 72 duster 340 that was orange, with a black interior, and black stripe and matched everything else that this car had (Chrysler did make more than 1 of these in 72) and I needed this tag to complete the build because mine...

People on Ebay piss me off

I must agree with that as well. Can't judge a book by its cover and assume that someone is trying to make a clone legit even though thats probably what is happening in this case. The whole #'s matching thing is getting out of control, too many Barrett Jackson watching IMHO.

    AAR Fiberglass screwed up

Hmmm, that sucks. I wish I had some extra plates but mine just came right out, sorry you didn't have the swap as easy as I did. I just looked in my Year One catalog on a whim to see if they have one, but it doesn't look like they carry them. Let me know who has them if you find any companies...

    AAR Fiberglass screwed up

Adam, wish I would have seen this link earlier. I just got done changing my trunk lid and was going to tell you about the little clips with nut plates in the old hood you need to take out and swap. I just (last week) got both bumpers from AAR. It took a little longer than expected to show up...

Questions about buying 1970 Barracuda (from a Camaro guy)

LOL, nice guys real nice, I was wondering if anyone else picked up on the frame off resto wording? That sounds like way too much for what you've described so listen to the prior posts. A little tip is Mopar stuff isn't like the chevy's. Parts are much harder to find and usually cost more...

    Swinger emblems

NOOOO! They cost $30.95 EACH, meaning if you only need one you will pay $30.95. If you happen to need two you will pay $61.90. These would cover your rear quarter panels. Now if you need the front fender emblems that say dart you would pay $26.95 for ONE and you would probably need the...

    Roll bar question

As rcottick said, 11.49 or quicker as of Jan 05 you need at least a roll bar and SFI 16.1 Driver-restraint system. This may help http://www.nhra.com/contacts/tech_faq.html If you've modified the floor, tubs, etc. rules start changing so just be safe and look em up before you install the wrong...

    Fall Carlisle

I'm going to the Fall Carlisle swap meet this weekend. I went to Chryslers of Carlisle this summer but this will be my first trip to the Fall carlisle swap. Anyone know if they tend to have much mopar stuff? I live 20min away in Harrisburg so I'm going regardless, just wondering how much loot...

    What's it worth?

I thought I would ask some of you more experienced mopar heads so you could guide me right. I have my old 8 3/4 housing uncut, includes sb pattern axles, small drum brakes, just doesn't have the third member. It's not all painted up pretty but I drove with it in my 72 dart and it was fine...

What to do with A body parts?

ThanX for all the input, and I'm still about where I was before...To sell or not to sell. OldVart I like the Law of Old Car Parts and Junk, good philosophy! Guess I'll start selecting what goes and what stays then change my mind again and keep it all anyhow. Peace out

What to do with A body parts?

Okay, question about my replaced parts. To sell or not to sell, is the question? I just got a 72 Dart back in February and have since mini tubbed it and got all kinds of goodies at Carlisle that I am putting in. For instance, I wanted to go to bb pattern and upgraded my brakes, put in racing...

    Show me your Hemi scoop!

Speaking of scoops...Is there a performance benefit to having a cowl induction hood or is this just a trend? I'm assuming less drag and aerodynamics and more of a clearance issue thing for high rise intakes.? And does a 6pack have more direct flowing air to the carb as its benefit?
