I have a 1984 slant 6 D150. I want to replace the lean burn system. I believe I just need to replace the carb and put a standard electronic distributior on it. The carb is shot anyway. So should I replace the carb from like a 1974 D150. And could anyone recommend a slant 6 electronic ignition...

What is the PDC? Guessing maybe the under hood computer?

Ok I am old school... So my question is I have a complete 80k mile fuel injected 5.9 magnum, 46RLE transmission, complete under hood/fuel injection harness and the engine computer all out of a 99 Dakota R/T.How would I go about using all this in a 60's - 70's A body? Are there only a few wires...

Mother Mopar used Champions. I have used Champions in all my slant 6's,Small blocks and big blocks without ever any issues. 20+ Mopars in 35 years.

I have a 88 Dodge Dakota. Dropping in a 318 LA. Getting rid of the computer and the wiring is a mess. I am thinking now maybe EZ harness. Then order EZ ignition,wiper,head light switches etc.

I need an aftermarket harness not a stock harness.Ron Francis sells an aftermarket harness for the older Mopars. Summit Racing harness is $200.00 I guess I will order theirs.Its not plug and play but that is ok.

I don't care about original fit. I am looking for a complete harness for the entire car. Looking for a cheap easy plug and play.

The wiring is toast on my Mopar. I am wanting to buy an aftermarket harness. It is just basic 318 no A/C or cruise etc. Has anyone bought a Summit racing harness ? Any recommendations on any other brand of harness?

I have a voltage regulator on the firewall. Yes I meant 1 field. Yes I am looking at Summit racing for a new alternator. I see a lot of them are internal regulator alternators. I did find a 1 field 80 amp alternator external regulator, I may just buy it.

My 69 has a 1 wire alternator and the voltage regulator is on the firewall. What would I need to do to convert to a alternator with a internal regulator?

Possible bad starter relay or ignition switch.

I broke 3 pins off years ago. I put in a tiny screw and nut to replace the pins. It worked great.

Yes this happend to me 20 years ago.Both headlights blew at the same time.I replaced them and they blew again.Come to find out my voltage regulator was bad.Replaced it and never had another issue.

Hide a new aftermarket radio with a Ipod jack under your front seat.Then buy yourself a Ipod .

I would stay far far far away from the Duralast and the MasterPro garbage....
