    A starting point

Body looks in great shape albeit missing some trim and since it's a Plymouth and the block is red it must be a 225. A /6 225 in an A-Body is a sleeper, just be careful with the 7.25 rear end. Have fun.

    65 dart candy cane trim

This is the best pic I could find, sorry it's a bit out of focus. This was taken when the engine was out for rebuild.

    What's a girl to do??

Speaking as an old fart who was driving when this was built all I would do is turn up the torsion bars a bit, HD shocks all around, maybe an extra leaf in rear springs, and blackwalls with mags. Best of luck, it's a really good looking Val'. Of course a Form' S exhaust would be cool too.

    Candy Cane delete

This is the way I got my Dart. Dings, bubbles, and minor cancers are going to be taken care of and the whole car clear coated. I have a set of Candy Canes but a couple pieces are mangled a bit so if I can bring them back I will decide then on re-install.

My 65 Dodge Dart GT Journey

Ooops, we have the same dash pad afterall; even the same cracks. I bought a dash pad overlay from eBay that fits perfect. That seller will even match the color for more $ but wants too big a sample ( I didn't want to cut mine so painted over the basic black ). The candy cane is the trim around...

Great idea. You'll want streamlined front end and that doggone candy cane trim will lose alot of efficient airflow. Tell ya what......I'll take that time losing stuff off your hands if you want and even pay you for it. . . . . . Hey....worth an attempt........seriously though, would love...

    What aftermarket 4bbl intakes fit a 65 273

GOOD LUCK ! I wanted an Eddy and after countless calls was told the same thing, " Edelbrock is still marketing and if there are enough orders in the next 6-8-? months another casting run "might " be made". I found an Offy 360 deg' Equa-Flow high rise from Speedway that the rep' I talked to...

    Starter Removal

Hi Vart Had to replace mine ( Mopar gods smiling ) while on the rack at a shop. We did it but had to get the smallest guy with hands like a little girl's for that top bolt and after twisting, turning, angling, along with some words I wouldn't use in front of children and ready to give...

Maybe the original poster of the bumper job will post in and give specifics. As per the bumper post, there has to be some "trick" to getting it right.

    "Chrome" paint use anybody

I've seen the tech archive re: bumper done with Killer Chrome and am curious. Has anyone else tried the chrome paint systems whether Killer Chrome, Cosmichrome, Innate, or any others. 65 Dart Owners Reply

I've only had mine for 3 months and love it. It won't get a total restore but I'll be happy with a for sure 20 footer ( eh maybe 10'-15' ). Just sold the Harley this week-end so the 273 Charger and 904 are getting pulled soon for rebuilds. Best of luck.
