What say you, early A experts?

left rear valance looks dented but don't think there is a notch for the square pipe, looks like a clean project though, enjoy and keep us updated.

"65 Barracuda Roll Call" just curious..how many of you have one?

I would venture to say there is about half still out there, maybe... I have 3, One that I have had since 1986, been black/black since the 90s with a 340 4-speed, don't know when I drove it last... one is a factory slanter 4-speed, originally gold/gold (Canadian car, so has Valiant badging and...

1965 Barracuda Formula S with factory air near St Louis

Yes it is a pretty rare and clean car (before resto even), but lots wrong with resto for sure. The flat or matte black dash etc... is annoying! Low to mid 20s is tops I would say, lots of history/paperwork, rare car. The auto doesn't help the value either IMO

"65 Barracuda Roll Call" just curious..how many of you have one?

Nice car Tax, but the side moulding & stripes are totally & completely wrong. Hard to find a completely unrestored/unmolested car these days, people usually change something during those 50 years, personalize if you will! Lets see a pic of that resonator (rear pic), cool when you pull up...

    Question, 65 Hurst shift knob

I've seen all sorts of shifters & shifter balls in early A's (lots that are wrong). I have always thought white with the shift pattern to be correct! I wasn't around when these things were new so can't say 100%, correct me/school me if someone has proof. All the literature I have seen has the...

    Early A hood scoop?

I don't think any scoops look "proper" on an early A, some race cars need to have them for clearance or more air but I think Your stroker stick car will be meaner looking as stock as it can be! Ultimately it is your car, but you asked for our comments, and I say "DON'T DO IT" If you must get...

    looking for floor panels

I would venture a guess of 65 Cuda... Autobody Specialties or Laysons has them, not used either & don`t recall which are better if they are different. Do a search on here of early A floor pans and you should find what you need. Cheers
