Been following your build closely can’t wait to see what it runs building a similar combination just curious what oil modifications did you do to the motor. Did you put the tube in the oil galley or A oil crossover line.
 
Probably shift at 6600 and go thru traps touching 7000.

Started this tread Feb 2020.....Looks like this weekend is show time.....New Belts showed up today....

Tomorrow take car out of trailer...give it a bath.....batteries will need to be charged....check the fuel ...clean carb....air up tires.......and see what else it needs...

Fire it up and check the tranny.......engine only has cam break in time on it.....

Friday weather is sunny with a high of 59.....
 
I have a good friend in Henderson. He'll try to get there to watch. I asked him to take some video, so smile!
 
We should have video also....Got a GoPro for inside the car plus an HD camera on the outside....My daughter do cruse .....lol...

I video I counted 12 F bombs from the stripe to the parking car in the pits...lol
 
If Washington state passes their proposed "capitol gains" tax, I'm looking at houses in your area. I heard there was some kind of political ruckus there today, but I'm getting tired of the socialist democrats and their taxes. Tired of the rain and $3.00 a gallon gas. I could help with your pit crew.

Woke this one up today.....cleaned carb...as secondary pump was sticking someone..put new diaphragm in it.....going to check the valves one more time

 
That engine sounded like ****.....the rockers were very noisey,,,,got it washed up and put back in trailer before rain hit...pulled the valve covers...and yeah...they were loose....
ok...got it fuel up....forgot to air up tires...and need to swap out belts....tomorrow is another day

Then we move on to the 71 Duster with 408 ...the green machine...

So no TnT this weekend? I have been a lousey friend and busy with life this week. I was hoping to get back on the FABO to see has fast you went down the track this weekend!

So when will the testing be now?
 
Never seen a camshaft with so many flat lobes in my life...another HUGHES 264/268 bites the dust....
