@B.R.E.Demon

What's the latest on the car????
So, We did a bit on the car Post PRI and took it to an event were I damaged the Doug Nash on the 3rd gear shift. So we pulled it and fixed it I then had to turn my attention to my C10 as work at the time needed it for R&D and I had to finish the 383 build to do so. Once that was done (skin of my teeth) I had to focus on our move to Colorado as my wife's Air Force job required it. So the fixed car went on the back burner to get that done. In that time I had to change jobs with in the industry and jump over to Cam Motion which has required a lot of travel too. Now as things have settled I'm Turning my focus more towards the HEMI! (post will outline that). But as of right now the car is being taken apart and parted out to facilitate the Pro stock build. The small block is going, parts of the cage is being redone, tubing the car, all the bolt on panels will be fiberglass now the inner fenders are coming out (replaced with aluminum) Going with a rack and pinion and coil overs. new rear brakes. filling the cowl, glass cap and marker lights. obviously a repaint. The car when done will be almost 100% visually the same but brought up to the 98% authentic of an early Pro-stock (not acid dipping the body) but my wife and I plan to have it done for October of next year (2025) to facilitate our obligations to our sponsors( not saying we

re but do the math on debut) I will say this : the car is going no were Im just taking all my knowledge and experience from time within the industry and racing to build the best version possible.

MCACN 2025 would be a great place to debut..IMHO..
Nice work. Thanks for thr update.

Now For the Hemi! The motor is being assembled with parts coming from quite a few sponsors with the intention of having the engine running and Dyno'd for this November to have ready for the trade show. We have B.E.S. doing the heads and intake and the valve job on the titanium valves. I'm doing a 60mm core custom solid roller through work(Cam Motion) in the engine lifters 1.000 od .920 wheel Pro Stock Jessel pieces. Plus I Got a set of Manton's Top Fueler rockers and shafts plus using their pushrods. The Crank is now a winburg billet piece with CP Carrillo Aluminum rods and Arias Pistons. Still doing 14.5:1 and picked up a fully built and modified A833 four speed and got on order a triple disc black magic clutch. Dispite All the new school tech the engine will maintain its nostalgic appearance to fit the retro build of the car.

So last night I stated to tare down the car to sell the motor and then the sheet metal. Plus started to do research on acid dipping.

Update so I yanked the motor and drive line (being parted out and listed for sale) and getting ready for the next step being the rack conversion as the hemi heads are off being ported and the bottom end is being shipped up to my machinist in the northeast for work so its slowly coming together.

It's been a bit again since posting. I've Been super busy with the build and found some good and some bad. First ending up im going to sell the Doug Nash Then I went ahead and tore down the car and found some rust in the cowl (the bad). I went ahead and sold the front clip and cut out the inner fenders. The best part is the engine made it to the machinist in RI and at this point it is being done just waiting on the milodon oil pump gears and the Pac valve springs. The continual diet marches on with more weight reduction. One of my sponsors hooked me up with a rotisserie so this winter it will be 100% stripped down to bare metal to fix any issues and make the bottom look as good the top, I spent quite a pit of time with the bead blaster stripping the front to work with and started on the k member and rack conversion but I shortly after received a new sponsor who sent tubular K member to modify and again allowing for more weight reduction. I also with the coil over conversion picked up a set of HDK 's tubular lower control arms to clean up the install instead of modifying the factory bars. Then got a little side tracked taking the c10 to Bonneville for speed week and now once back switching in a new tremec TKX into that then back on the car. Im sure I missed things and will add in info with the pics

Starting on figuring out a plan and weight reduction. I also figured out the fender braces. The 60mm custom roller showed up from work.
