My wallet is too thin to do any harm.I had a really good chiropractor years ago who told me the best thing I could do for my back was to stop keeping my wallet in a back pocket. I still go from time to time for adjustments, have had lower back pain for most of my adult life. Being 6 ft 7 in tall doesn't help, always having to bend over to work. I had a really good physiotherapist for a couple of years that also did acupuncture with amazing results. Unfortunately she moved away and I haven't found another one yet. Most of my pain is in the right hip area, walking helps me a lot, so I try to do as much as possible.
Mine looks something like that. Got it off Amazon. Easy to adjust, but at 230 lbs it will put some stress on my ankles if I really lay it back. That one looks like it may have more comfortable ankle cuffs. Think surface area. You don't have to go full vertical to get results. Better to ease into it.
think that is the one I got tooI just bought a cheap one

Same here.I would need the big boy one.
One more reason why I hate meds. The not so funny thing about narcotics is when you run out and have withdrawals then you're entire body hurts
Yeah I ended up a ****** addict on the street because of how addictive those suckers are, or maybe it's because how much of an addict I "was"One more reason why I hate meds.
Good luck with your recoveryI got my results back today on my MRI from yesterday on my lower back. I’m screwed. I’ll wait to see what the doctor says on Monday, I’m going in this Wednesday for my neck surgery to fuse my spine.
Went very well, thank you, went back to work after two days off. Now on to my lower back.Good luck with your recovery
That's great. Hope the lower back can be fixed boy is a painful lower back a curse or whatWent very well, thank you, went back to work after two days off. Now on to my lower back.
Can you switch insurances? My insurance covered my whole back surgery without question.Been there, done that. My chiropractor has been my savior but I still have issues. I fell out of a semi trailer and landed flat on my *** years ago. I have some lumbar disc damage that could probably be fixed. I have been to the doctor, neurologist and orthopedic surgeon. My insurance doesn't want to pay for corrective surgery unless it's debilitating and I'm not able to function.
You’re not old at all, don’t wait too long to have it fixed. I just had my surgery on my lower back and I refused to have my back fused like my neck. They did have to cut away some of the disc and remove part of the outer bone but I feel better after 40 years of pain, numbness and tingling.I blew the disk at L5-S1 junction. Not sure how/when it happened, kinda snuck up on me. Full impingement on the spinal cord. Couldn't feel my left foot of nearly two years, constant pain sitting or standing. Hated the pain meds and quit taking them after a week. Went to spinal specialist and got the MRI to figure out what it was. Started PT and made some progress but then stalled out. I DID NOT want any kind of fusion surgery so I got two epidurals 3 months apart and that took care of 90% of the pain by reducing the swelling. Still got to be very careful how I move, lift, or sit. Losing weight helps a lot and it is all about core strength to stabilize the spine and provide separation and not rely on the disks. I'm 55 now and pretty active with golf, bowling, softball and competition shooting but I get by pretty well for an old(er) fart.
I learned never to fuse anything, the ex had a fusion, and what a pain that was. You’re not old at all, don’t wait too long to have it fixed. My neck fusion went okay, but I’ll never get another vertebrae fused.I learned never to fuse anything, the ex had a fusion, and what a pain that was.
