ProComp/Speedmaster aluminum heads

I have the black mr gaskets and they were good out of the box the first time, Im very happy with them. Bought some ebay kmj ones the first time and the holes didn't even line up lol, they tried telling me me it was the "aftermarket heads" yeah right.
The Holley sniper ones are the identically same manufacturer and everything but I believe them going to the extra process of having the label put on them gets them banged up and scratched more....

Well so far so good with the Speedmaster heads. I don't have any complaints whatsoever at this point... There certainly seems to be no lack of performance...
I drove it to a little cruise in Tuesday night and it ran great..
The car drew a big crowd.. many good compliments...
Not only the engine compartment but the stance of the car..
Anyways from beginning to end and just being curious about the heads to having them on and running them I feel so far there is no losing side.. except that I should have got them in the first place LOL...

If they go on sale again in the fall for 40% off, I may snag another set just because..... and I'm regretting I only bought two intakes for 135 each. Should have bought 4. I'm really happy with how it fit the 318 in the truck, and really works well from low end to high end.

So you went form a home ported 340/360 head to the speed masters Right?
I know you haven't got much drive time on them yet, but what do/did you notice the most improvement in?
aka easier on the take off, clutch release.......Cruising and squat throttling it,.........highway cruising up to top rpm shift point.

the first thing I noticed when I gave it gas was the front end came up more because there was 50 lbs less over the front suspension. Just seat of the pants the shame definitely no less and a little more possibly here and there but really there's no telling for sure it wasn't that dramatic..

You have to push the button for the dramatic effect. LOL
push the dang button, will you already. lol
Take it out on the freeway at 4 am.

Getting closer. Still waiting on front suspension parts, but soon.

How about a couple picts pls?? As much as i like a full paint job on mopars, i gotta say that i like the looks of your " scrapper" in the raw , down and dirty " YOU WANT SOME OF THIS ??? " type of attitude and stance. You've only teased us with a couple picts here and there....

Have you run it on straight 93 pump gas yet? I know that was one thing you were after.
Working on it. I usually mix three non ethanol to one 110 Sunoco.... I had a gallon of Sunoco left so I mix that with 5 gallons of non ethanol and put 5 gallons of it in with the 3-to-1 mix.... Next I'll just fill it backup with non ethanol and kind of phased out. I keep it to gallon can of Sunoco bungee cord it up in the trunk so in case I need to make some mix on the road I can. Hopefully I can just take that out soon. But if I have any problems I have it there to add...

I appreciate that, I do put a lot of work into it... the next time I take it for a drive I'll try to pull over and take a few pictures. The last thing I want to do is pull into it a Cruze in and start popping off a million pictures of my own car LOL...

picked the heads up this morning will post some numbers later today...still bouncing up and down the highway

instead of typing this all out I took a picture of the sheet....this is the CNC version from SM with a new valve job.

Must have a small flowbench. I’m guessing superflow110 or something as he’s not flowing the upper lifts at 28 inches of depression on the intake side.
