May make trunk hard to close. And seal will conform better if moved to the outside.
Ok. So, then I just need some clear coat to spray on first.
(Don't tell anyone on the planet I used the word "phpray" since I am in California)

This is the correct adhesive. No need to spray clear coat first, just clean free from dirt first. This stuff will stick. The worst part however is on the bottom of the trunk opening. The metal lip is not like on the upper part.
I have to write down the types of glues you guys have mentioned and see if I can find any of it here, or if Brown or Newsom have gotten rid of everything that smells.

Nice pic, but I think it's still Thursday.View attachment 1715396261
It's Fiat Friday!
Good morning/afternoon.
Had an early appointment with Marlena the Tormentor and PT.
There's a cruise in town tonight, for cancer survivors .
Tomorrow is the Cruisin' For Lfe car show, a fundraiser for cancer research and treatments.
Should be a fun couple of hours.

That is a lot of rain...
Look in the shop manual. They have a pretty extensive set of drawings for placement of weatherstrips - usually the magnifications show the profiles. The worst part however is on the bottom of the trunk opening. The metal lip is not like on the upper part.
