Stop in for a cup of coffee

Ok, I agree with parenting and having your children respect guns and know how to use them, but it wasnt that is time. The kid brought a steak knife and stabbed the officer multiple times...the officer shot in defence.

Just wanted to clear up any confusion

I think we were talking generically

Ya...I knew he had a knife...really a weapon is a weapon....the parenting thing goes for steak knife too...lol

It is a crazy world...never thought my son would be able to say he knows what shots fired sounds like in his school.

The eagle has landed..

Got the engine in between the frame rails.

It looks horrible but it runs and right now I am more concerned with achieving a complete engine compartment with ccorrect bolts and hardware in the correct places.

Eventually everything has to come apart again and be cleaned and painted but I want it functional and complete now.

I will be spending hours scrutinizing bolts and small details.

AWESOME!!!! You should have it running in no time now.

To set the engine in, I left the torsion bar adjustment screws all the way loose, so it set the car really low. For me, that was a good idea, I am going to start doing that in every ending R&R because I have to climb all the way into the engine compartment to reach anything so this helps

I keep the tunes on in shop every day. Have to turn it down when the codgers pop in.
Got most of what i wanted to do accomplished this afternoon. Alignment machine tucked away in corner out of harm’s way.
May have gained a little space too.

I used to pull wheels and set crossmember on blocks.
With full size trucks on my drive on i just let the air out of the front tires.

I shot yall some videos today. Sorry about the sideways shot. They are pretty self explanatory.

Here's Matt workin on replacing quarters on David's Chevelle.

14 inch BFG P245 60R14 rear P215 60R14 front. New
You could run on those.

Looks like the closest SCCA autocross is Fontana

Its pretty cool they have a Sat for just practice as well as the event on Sunday.
If you have time, maybe go over on Sunday and see what's involved. Usually there's no charge to just watch as these are 'non-spectator events'. Just sign the waivers. You can then walk the course, watch the runs, and depending on local rules - maybe observe from a pasenger seat.

For some reason Cal Club has seperate websites for the autocross, road rally, and road racing.

So something just hit me....

This car was an original v8 car so it never had the exhaust set up for a slant.

I was going to take the exhaust from the demon but i just realized the demon has a shorter wheel base than this car...... so I either need to figure out how to extend it or build something else....

If you knew whereabouts the part is longer, could have a piece made up to extend it. I go to local shop, they make me anything i need right there on the spot.
Walker exhaust has all kinds of adapters/ id/od pipes to do just what you need.
