Nothing worse is for us old guys doing anything on a metal roof, my shop has about the same pitch and it's nerve racking to get up there, stepping back on the ladder is a feet in its self, easy goes it brother

You know what sucks. When i was sled pulling I broke a lot of stuff. Sent a compressor wheel out the stack once, blew an injector of a head. Blown head gasket. Broken a triple disc clutch in half, along with an input shaft. But until yesterday I’ve never broken the bottom end of a Cummins. Let alone on a bone stock factory engine. :BangHead:

That sucks Chris. It does sound like a rod bearing.

So, EAA starts on Monday. Turns the Oshkosh, from 65,000 to 300,000+ for a week. Gotta remember to stay way. About 30 min north of me. Plane traffic will be nice to hear.

Well here is daughter update. Tuff day in rehab yesterday but just great progress. She is at an inpatient rehab clinic for stroke and blood clot (aneurisms) patients. It is very specific and focused. It is amazing, she literally gets one hour off for lunch then right back to serious PT. Six hard core hours a day. She can barely hold her head up when she is done she is exhausted. She is walking around the gym with no assistance and now also pushing a sled. She has regained full mobility of arm and hand but is very weak. She can speak and think at just almost normal pace. Her team is meeting on Monday to decide when to kick her out. Woo Hoo! Being so young and fit has really helped her. She was/is a yoga fiend and eats very healthy non drink non smoker. The thing that is really spooky to me is when I was mid thirties I literally did not know a single person my age that had experienced a stroke, that was reserved for the sixty plus crowd. At the rehab center it is easily 3:1 or maybe 4:1 - 35 and under patients vs older patients. It is super weird. The gym is filled with young people and very few older? What has changed physically in our society to create such a reversal of victims? It freaked me out. Again sincere thanks to all y’all for the prayers and PMs of support. From life flighting her fighting for her life two weeks ago to yesterday has been a roller coaster of emotions for our entire family.
This woke my day up with happiness cousin, if she is anything like you she is a strong willed lady with a strong hart, bless your hart and hers on this day we all have been given.
I didn't realize it till reading your post that I to have seen more younger folks having these strokes around here, just a few weeks ago a nephew had a mini stroke and he is 32.
I had one at 55 and I fully recovered (or it sure seems like I have) and watch my blood pressure very closely now.
Prayers continue many times a day , you stay sharp on this beautiful day cuzz.

Well.. on the upside, you know the head is perfect now :)

Never knew this stuff can't be sold on ebay or etsy.. I might do some art work with them and wrap the skull area in leather, my wife bought them on her treasure hunting trip south.

Seriously slow every thing needs to be dried and re cleaned. No idea how it all got so damp. Going to take a month or so for sure non stop. Man JD is a big PIA. The pulley sheaves are 1/2" not 5/8. Old ones the part that slips over the spline is worn out so 3 more needed. two weeks at least to get them. Lesson learned just buy JD hard parts for now on.
Ray, didn't you notice the difference in width when you changed them ?

well.. ****
Brand new injectors will need replaced too, they’re oil cooled so anything that gets oil is gonna have to be torn cleaned or replaced. Turbo, injectors, vacuum pump, injection pump. Oil pump I’ll replace completely.

Yep there’s only two things I will always say buy brand parts for, John Deere and Cummins

We've been all over. My niece works in Manhattan lives in Brooklyn
That's great! Good to hae a local guide. Get an different perspective than just hitting the tourist spots
Some things in Brooklyn that are 'must see' that I have not yet seen. Brooklyn Botanical Gardens for example.
