Yeah, I know this is not a motorcycle thread. But I feel good about making some forward progress. Checked the oil pump, checked and lubed the fuel inlet and reattached it to the tank. Installed the tank, including the transfer lines between the two tanks. Installed fuel filter, ready for carburetor, after it's rebuilt. I already changed the fluid in the transmission, so it's ready. Waiting until I'm at the last minute to add oil before I started up for the first time. All in all, a fairly productive day..

Don't care if you even post a Ford here it's more of a fun time and what the hell is everyone working on kinda deal as far as I'm concerned.

Check for compression release buttons! Super cool project. Now if I could only remember how this shovel got inked on my arm????

As you know John. I'm not really a Harley guy. But this thing has a red assembly on top of the s&s carb. Not sure if that's the release or not. Maybe you can tell me??
