A big block motoring across the lake. You can hear it and know it's a big motor! A newer boat. Probably a Rat motor. 454 would be my guess.
 
So, I have worked on this guy's truck over the past few years. Doing a lot of custom work. Very nice truck. 1994 ,C1500, 5.7. I've done some engine work on it and some brake work and, believe it or not put some red lights under it for him. . Put a custom steering wheel on it and a new starter motor this week. But had to wait a week to get the correct adapter to install the steering wheel. Always an

Wow nice truck.
 
One thing fun about this resort is the on the water gas island. One of the few on the lake. Last year a young fella cruised up in a restored Mahogany Chris Craft powered by a Rolls Royce. I think all my photos are at home. It was stunning.
 
My Cousin near by here is a mobil marine mechanic. He often calls me to go on test rides...No Charge of course.... :thumbsup:

It was surprising how many people at the marina would never actually take their boats out. So my Dad would convince them to let him Captain, while they rode and drank. He had a USCG Commercial Captain's license.
