CA is just as hotNo offense to our Georgia and L.A. (that's Lower Alabama) friends.. but summer down yonder in a non-AC classic just sounds less than fun
I lived and worked in Yuma AZ.... there's hot and then there's Georgia in the summer.

I believe I have another one . I've only moved it around a dozen times organizing the garage the last few weeks. This one should work.

Not a great picture or if it even helps . The notch in the trim rings was made to go over the cross bar on the inside towards the headlight.

Got a ride - several actually and was able to work on it this afternoon. Took a lot of patience and back and forth to get this bugger free without twisting the line. Aren't they always
If I was home I would have been tempted to trachs it and make a new one, although probably never a good option A.
Parts store had no hose or bleeder kits. Had to bleed it onto some cardboard.

Ok night all. I washed my hair the other day and can't do I thing with it. I hate long frizzy hair.
