I wonder if a Dana 44 out of a Box Jeep would hold a slant ...I am thinking it would and is available at the pick a part ...hopefully with some low gears

Easily, the slant is nothing for a Dana 44.

what up bud? big day for you today huh?

Yep and a busy one at that... Lots of errands to run, so it will give me some time to practice walking.

Good morning Coffee crew, I am looking for an automatic single brake set up for my A body :thankyou: when I can get one in my hands on one my clutch and brake peddles are coming out.:)
Yes I could have located me a set of manifolds and settled, but I really needed the Hookers to match up to my 380 hp 360 I have, Built by Broodway Speed shop 7 miles away. Living 15 miles from a race track I have been enjoying for 40 years  there was no way I was going to settle
I have seen two early A bodies running these Hooker super comp fender well headers and as most of you know I drove one, it has been on the road 9 years now with them. the other is a trailer car raced one ta to times a week for the last 6 years, they love how easy it is to pull the engine . Manifolds can be a good choice for a 318 driver Good luck on your build @Rainy Day Auto , do you have a build thread going sugar ?

I think am going to have to make the Z bar because most C-bodies that had a clutch was a slant six three on tree set up with a Z-bar that wouldn't work on a BB. So the solution is to make one using a B-body as a starting point . I believe most of the linkage can be interchanged with B-body
I have a few parts and I believe the Z bar from my 66 ... I will locate everything and see what I have Rainy
