Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning.

So this may seem trivial to you all, but I think it's kind of cool. Finally wearing the new uniform today. The cool (or sad part depending) this makes the fourth different camouflage pattern I have worn since enlisting. One of very few left in my unit who can say that.

And good morning to you all!

Just came back from a picnic with my wife and the 5-yo. We all rode our bicycles to the large playground close to us, had some 'fika' and watched our daughter climb the large climbing thing.

Good times. Now I'm ready for my gig!

What color is that... It looks close to dark metallic bronze like one of my Challenger convert's... :thumbsup:
T4 Cinnamon Poly (met)
its the original color. They had a few others that were close. Just changed up the recipe a little every year.

So being the good friend YOU drank them while he painted?
My two brother-out-laws and I hung around throughout the redusting and though we brought some beer we drank it all, much more than Ray and Keefer ever did. Other than that the sum of our contribution consisted of rolling-out the Monte frame and providing a slightly-used 2/3 sheet of 1200-grit that I'd swiped off Hop-Pa Munster in the first place.

Reality is contingent on perception...How Kant-ian. I want to get real but I Kant.

Good to see you brought the critter to help.. i like that doggie..

Or not...

I think most of reality is up for grabs since it seems to be completely flexible for every individual. Actual reality and facts seems to be nothing more than a suggestion for most people...they are much happier (or at least feel how they act is justified) in their own warped version of reality.

Unpleasant memories of the mistakes you made? Just change them so that you were right and everyone else got it wrong.
Hurt other people? Just change it so that they hurt you first so you were justified hurting them back.
Can't find success? Just blame mom and dad and corporate America for treating you unfairly and keeping you down.
Can't save money? Forget that you spent $250 last week on lunches, dinners and new clothes you didn't need and blame the government taxes keeping you poor.

Yadda, yadda, yadda. :rolleyes:

There are four levels of reality:

There's like, REAL reality, which is only theoretically achievable in the laboratory using state-of-the-art ultra-new-fangled expensive technology at sea-level and absolute zero;

there's affectual reality, which operates strictly according to Murphy's Law and O'Toole's corollary;

there's perceptual reality, which is unique to each individual;

and there's political reality which by definition is not reality at all under any circumstances.

If a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman there, is he still wrong?

"There was once a man who liked pictures of dragons, and his clothing and furnishings were all designed accordingly. His deep affection for dragons was brought to the attention of the dragon god, and one day a real dragon appeared before his window. It is said that he died of fright." - Hagakure-

Last year I bought a disc brake conversion kit for the Duster from MPbrakes. It consisted of upper control arms w/big ball joints, spindles, backing plates, calipers, pads, brake hoses, master cylinder, adjustable pushrod combo valve and all the little goodies need to do the swap. The spindles came assembled with the rotors, calipers, and baking plates. Anyway, I put them on yesterday for a test fit and everything went fairly uneventful. This morning as I went out to the garage I noticed something wrong, why I didn't notice it right away I'll never know, anybody else see it? First pic is right side second pic left side..

I'll take a guess....upper control arms too long? Looks like a wicket tilt to the wheel but it is off the ground.

It's normal for camber and toe to come in, without the weight of the car on the front end.

I'm gonna guess, the retaining cap on the left side isn't seated in the grooves, as though maybe the inner brake pad isn't seated all the way down in the clips.

Another good guess and not too far off from the main issue. Let me pose this question...Shouldn't the bleeder screws be at the top?

Wul, mine are.

So - like this Duster disc conversion kit then - like maybe they put the left one on the right spindle? Is that even possible?

:thumbsup: Thats exactly what i believe they did! Lets assume I was able to get them bled, (highly unlikely) the first time i would have hit the brakes they would have broken the retainers at the bottom of the caliper and really had an issue!
