Stop in for a cup of coffee

Agree they do - its the electronics. Its the dirty secret. Some are faster some are slower but even nowadays only a few designs are setup to compensate in the electronics. Most factory race efforts compensated in the distributor.
Another little secret is that almost all of the 5 pin stock replacements are actually a 4 pin internally and the 5th pin is a dummy. That makes the second part of the dual ballast useless and can confuse the hell out of someone trying to solve an ignition problem. Because they are 4 pin internally, they also carry the ignition advance controls that the original 5 pin didn’t.

You will get the typical. I don't give a f..k response.
A few weeks back a cop in front of me hit the horn at the guy in front of him blocking the street.
Jusr sat there talking after about 30 seconds the lights went on and hit the horn again. Still Sat there after about a minute finally moved.
Cop pulled him over down the street.
I pulled over to watch. Funny as he'll watching him agrue with the cops. camera phones started popping out.
I thought it was going to get real ugly. But the guy backed down when the cop said look would you like me to call for assistance and we search your car or do you shut up just and give me your info and take the ticket.
That stuff doesn't happen up here.

Funny it doesn't seem to matter whether its a nicer neighborhoods or not. Although some neighborshoods the doorbell on the house is actually used instead of te hone on the steering wheel...
Agree th e horn is the door bell of choice , just about anyplace I go in the city.
Are you around 49th and Catharine. We're the guy took out all the car mirrors with the stolen scooter?

No - I'm off of 43rd by Clark Park. Stuff like that happens here every few years. The best (or worst) was someone circling the park late one night as fast as they could - took out a trailer with canoe on 45th, sideswiped a bunch of cars and flattened the metal and glass shelter at the 43rd & Woodland trolley stop. SEPTA never replaced it - Westbound riders aren't that important...

I hate getting stuck behind those damn Trolleys.

Common everyday stuff around here.
Yep...and also why I don’t miss working in the city at all.

I earned my stripes in the Philadelphia Tactical Driving School back when I was doing 1000 miles per week in town for my auto upholstery business and I have no desire to go back there unless I absolutely have to. Even just commuting into the Navy Yard for 7 years was more than I cared to do.

My opinion is. People drive around here like they walk. No rules and oblivious to their surroundings.
It's all about them.

@dartnabout .
I'll take pictures and post them for you next week.
So you can see what you are up against.
Their are only two ways in. Both are tight turns depending on how close to the intersection these asswipes park.

Yup - I pick my driving routes carefully when I can. Apparently its too much effort or cooperation required to have the traffic lights work in-sync with trolleys. For some reason SEPTA always says 'it can't be done' when there's examples of places doing something smart.

Its all too common for some idiot to park in the middle of the street and block the trolley, holding them up and everyone behind 'em. Air horn for 30 second blasts at 2 AM is always special on a summer night. :mob:

There's plenty of cool things too.

Next time you are stuck behind a trolley or bus. Take note to how they sit there till the light turns yellow before they pull out.

:BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::wtf::wtf::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

Just got the jeep all working good last weekend, now otw home tonight, blew both front brake lines. Nearly wrecked but thank goodness for the E brake and a clutch

Well you know there's only one rule the City.
The rules apply to someone else.

Time for a carefully planned accident and collect the insurance to get something else.

There was another well sculpted one on the turtle but pictures didn't work out.
