Stop in for a cup of coffee

I'm sure it's got a good ground through the adjustment bracket. But, don't think it needs a ground - no points...

Will do. Who's driving? (I'm almost out of beer, do I need to go get some? )

You really have to ask that. Really!:rofl:

And everyone believes that every sign telling you the rules has “except for you” written on the bottom of it.
I'll have to take picture of the No Bike Riding signs on Penn's Campus that say "except for us" on them!

I saw a good one on Baltimore Ave a few weeks back.
Guy flying down in the bike lane. Women throws open the door without looking.
The guy goes airborne. And all she can yell is my caa my caa it ain't my fault looks at my caa.

My opinion is. People drive around here like they walk. No rules and oblivious to their surroundings.
It's all about them.

@dartnabout .
I'll take pictures and post them for you next week.
So you can see what you are up against.
Their are only two ways in. Both are tight turns depending on how close to the intersection these asswipes park.

Yup - I pick my driving routes carefully when I can. Apparently its too much effort or cooperation required to have the traffic lights work in-sync with trolleys. For some reason SEPTA always says 'it can't be done' when there's examples of places doing something smart.

Its all too common for some idiot to park in the middle of the street and block the trolley, holding them up and everyone behind 'em. Air horn for 30 second blasts at 2 AM is always special on a summer night. :mob:

I don't have the patience for that...I would hurt someone

My girls friends daughter was hit by an opening door as she rode her bike. In a coma for 3 days and has a total different personality.

Classic!

I've got to say 80% of the bike lanes suck. The new one Chestnut St is almost as badly done as the ones at Woodland & 39th and the one going into the Art Museum circle. They always remind me of "The Architect" skit from Monte Python.

Well you know there's only one rule the City.
The rules apply to someone else.
Yoose Guys aint seen nuttin, till ya see how they drive in the Nam.......And This is in a small town/city... You should see Saigon....Just plain NUTS !!!!!!!!!:wtf::wtf::wtf::wtf:

Just got the jeep all working good last weekend, now otw home tonight, blew both front brake lines. Nearly wrecked but thank goodness for the E brake and a clutch
I always thought if you blew the one line there would not be enough pressure to blow the other one.

Sorry to hear that.
In highschool I hit an open car door, but had enough time to lock up brakes and did a pretty good slide under after contact. No serious damage to me or the bike. The car door didn't shut. lol
Last year, or maybe two now, a girl on bike was hit by truck areound 36th or 38th and Penn's police tried to make like it didn't happen. Guess it wasnt going ot look good on the stats, or something.. Not sure how that ended up as they have enough camaras they certainly should have been able to get plate (if they wanted).

I'm no expert on brake systems, but the way our old mopar brakes work, I would agree with you. Slider in the proportioning block can separate front to back, but not side to side.

I think they both blew at the same time, lady pulled out in front of me, hit the brakes hard, barely missed hitting her. Both hoses, right where the crimp to the rubber is blown out. I'll get pics in the morning

Wouldn't want the stats to look bad. Fckkin idiots.

Modern ABS like his Jeep uses separate proportioning to each wheel. It’s all part of the traction control system (ESC - Enhanced Stability Control) that allows it to control each wheel independently.

Probably because the ABS was pulsing and the shock waves blew the lines. Even if one went, the other would still be working. They may have blown together or in sequence...no way to tell.

Guys, a friend of mine is having the below issues with his 77 W200, 318

Ok guys I am at a total loss on my carb issue with my 77. Here is what all I have done. Rebuilt carb (Carter BBD, float set at 1/4", accelerator pump measured at 1/2"), new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, dizzy and now fuel pump. Timing set to about 8* BTDC. Idles smooth as glass. But falls flat at the hit of the throttle and trying to hold a steady rpm say around 2000. Ran fine before i monkeyed with the carb other than the accelerator pump was weak. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Distributor needs to be checked. Put a light on it and watch the timing advance curve. I bet it’s fubar.

Fix a weak link and then the next one shows up...

Looks like the National Weather Service still doesn’t know what’s going to happen with the storm on Monday...

“A rapidly intensifying ocean storm may affect the area with snow or
rain Monday afternoon and Tuesday. At this point, forecast
confidence regarding extent of snow coverage and amounts remains
low. Snow amounts will depend on the storms track as well
as surface temperatures.”

This one is going to be a “now” cast rather than a forecast.
