Yep, cut it 50/50 with distilled water to a net 75 proof then soaked in 1/2 cup American white oak (medium toast) chips. I have added a squirt of honey for a little extra sweetness. A bottle of everclear is 150 proof here in Iowa.
 
Hey, where did Oldmanray go. I see he changed his avatar to a coffee cup shooting the finger and a "no more coffee" message. I was busy over the weekend, I missed something?

Gotcha. Thought maybe you cut it 20% with another whiskey too. Bet some Jim Beam would blend nicely with it.

IDK, I saw him post a “that’s it, I’m out of here” message a few days ago but couldn’t tell what it was all about. Then I saw the Avitar change.

Not sure what happened.
 
So I've got to rant just a bit.

I really dislike it when someone only contacts you when they need something. about 8 year ago I installed a furnace and A/C for my ex mother in law. I've always liked her, and just wanted to help her out. Well fast forward to just last week. I get a message from her husband (not my ex's dad, she remarried). That the A/C was working great, but he got this hair up his butt to go and wash it out. Well since he did that it wont work, and he keeps asking me to come look at it. I dont mind helping diagnose things but I got rid of all my A/C tools and really cant help out anymore. Yet he expects me to come out and look at it. I've told him I would ask other people I know if they would want to swing by and everyone is busy now. I relay that back to him and he asks me ok, so when can you come out.. Seriously I dont have the stuff to diagnose your problem, call up a repair company... Grrr!

Sorry, im out of that business,and my contacts have all retired. I cant help you.
I did hundreds of remote starters in my area,i was the go to guy.
I quit doing them 5 years ago.
I wont even consider doing them now. Not even for my wife. I will hire the now “go to guy”

Stop dancing around the answer and just say No.

“I cannot, and will not come to help you, here is the number of a repair service.”

I learned a long time ago to never soft sell the answer “No”.

Firm, direct and unforgiving...period.

Ask my FIL who tried to take out a life insurance policy on my daughter when she was a year old without asking me and named himself as the beneficiary and gave me no rights to the policy. He mailed it to me with little sticky flags where he needed me to sign. I sent it back shredded in a FedEx envelope with a note that said “No”.
 
If I had my tools I could figure it out, but I got burnt once and decided that was the end of trying to be a nice guy. It just kind of irritates me when you dont hear from anyone for gosh knows how long and then when you do hear from them, they want something from you.

It tells you clearly that they have zero interest in you...only in themselves.

My two brothers. Since they dont even call mom, they can both go piss up a rope.

Wow! That is really messed up. In that situation I would of done the same thing.

Im always for helping someone, but my gosh stay in contact with the person. I told him some of the basic things to look for from what he was telling me, and those didnt fix it. It wasnt until he ask me to come out and spend my time to look at it, is when he didnt understand.
 
On another note. I made an apt. tomorrow to get the tires installed on the wheels. I hope they dont chip the paint on them, that is making me nervous. Not that its show quality. I'll be sure to let them know to be careful with them.

Make sure they use the machine for mag wheels. Those machines don’t touch the wheel except on the back to anchor it.
