You running ac as well? Can’t see if there’s a condenser in there or not.
Impressive build. Thank you! I have a '65 Valiant with a 5.7 and NAG1 setting in my garage in pieces. After see your building I'm starting to think I'm in over my head.
Just read through the whole thread. Very clean setup man! Do you do custom cars for a living?
Sounds like a great project. I do some minor customizing.Im in the process of putting a 6.4 in my roadrunner with a t56. It will be a sweet driver when done, I see some other nice rides you have. Did you do customize them as well?

Wow! Way outta my league.
Fantastic craftsmanship, nothing but respect, here.

I’ve not had an A body before, B and E bodies so far. I’m working on a deal to get a 64 Dart convert that has the beginnings of the same swap begun and then put aside. Searching for info on the process led me to this site and this thread in particular. Now, I really want to tackle this. I don’t have your skills, but I do have most of the equipment and a fair amount of experience. If I get this car THIS will be my go-to reference thread.
Fabulous work, can’t wait to see the finished product!
This thread along with tincups 63 dart. Both are amazing for people to reference if you are planning on doing this swap. I know this because I am working slowly on one in my 65 dart.Fantastic craftsmanship, nothing but respect, here.

Geez. Thank you again. This stuff is really fairly easy. I Just used a tuna can as a template and cut rough cut it with a cutoff saw then ground it smooth. Sometimes the hardest part is just diving in. Once you're in, the water's not so cold. That's what's awesome about these early A's - they're virtually worthless. So what if you mess it up?I am most impressed by the trimming (rounding) of the trunk and door corners. This is the kind of detail that just blows me away. I makes a huge difference in the look, the sort of thing that a casual car show attendee would go 'damn, something about Valiant... but it's so damned subtle that he won't even spot it. He'll just know that it looks better than the others but can't put a finger on it. This is high-level restyling and it is something that most builders/ modders would not take the time to do.
