Trick Flow small block heads

Hoosier QuickTime pro
Yes we definitely have to get a definition of a streetcar, what can be driven on the street, street tires, and Hoosier quick Time pros LOL..
I was talking true factory street tires and not Factory drag car tires...
Like these 18 in Factory hemi Magnum rims and tires at least the back tires were Factory...

A total ice skating ring effect LOL with the slowest stroker on the internet and a four speed...

I forgot....... we can only use your extremely limited criteria to determine exactly what a street car is.

I wonder how many on this board with street cars running in the 11’s or better are running all season radials as their rear tires of choice.

Ya who in their right mind races a car with the rearend of the car a mile in the air. Some are still in the 1970’s. Lol.

LOL... I love it it's the same tactic 318 uses twisting what I'm saying to suit your conversation LOL...
those rims and tires were $200 and that's what I could afford when I first got the car LOL I did well with the 318 that came with the car. I use them when I put it on the street and when I went to the track I had Hoosier slicks and Hoosier skinnies.. currently I've ditched both and sold all 8 rims and tires and have a compromise between the two and use street drag radials and some cheap Walmart tires up front on some cop rims..
My point is there's a world of traction between the two...
and if you read up there my point wasn't I was determining what was the streetcar and what wasn't but it would be nice if there was some ground rules to determine what that is or what it isn't...
All coming back to the necessity of spending trick flow money on a streetcar again bang-for-the-buck wise. And again I'll probably have to repeat myself that I'm not putting down trick flow heads good Lord...

I do! My car is built for old-school not for ultimate race track.. I don't have an endless budget for multiple cars so I tried to squeeze everything I can into the one car that I have. is my dual quad tunnel ram ultimately faster at the track probably not is the four speed the way to go at the track probably not could I put a real expensive coil-over rear end in there probably... but I prefer an old-school ladder bar or something like that because that's my hobby car not yours...
if you'd stop putting my stuff down to make yourself feel better you'd probably gained a little more respect for yourself...

I remember driving that 9’s second car 35 miles each way to US131 Motorsports park, laying down a number of passes on a points night, going 4 rounds and driving it home. Dumb, but i did it
why dumb....
Well, what if you get a flat, you are toast. What if you break a rocker arm, your fuel pump quits on you...
What if its hot and you want to put the AC on.
To me an old classic car has its limitations. Good weather, not Real far from home if any of the above misfortunes happen, etc.
Thats what a modern car that gets 30 mph, has a stereo i can hear, and doesnt have a shifter in the way in case the old lady decides to give me a little road jolly is for.

WOW!!!... Again 100% agree.. but oddly enough you're the first one to come out and bash the hell out of me for putting 4k into quality Parts and machine work for my motor LOL.. I got to admit that came across pretty hypocritical...
I have NEVER bashed you or anyone for "putting money or quality" into a car. EVER. As you like to tease me for being at 13.3's (with a stock 360, stock converter, 2.94's), I like to tease you about having a dual quad 410 roller rocker ported head blah blah at mid 12's in street form.

I got my trick flow heads last night. What I can tell just by looking at them , they look very nice. Lol I am going to install them tonight. But wont get the truck running till some time next week. I still have to buy the roller rocker arm kit from B3 racing and wating to get my intake back from Mike at B3. Had to get the intake drilled for LA bolt pattern. I course still cant race it until the tracks open back up. Might just have to drive it on the street till they do. Lol

Honestly, J par wants the old school look, and that's how I remember the 70's and 80's. Didn't matter if it was a Duster, Nova, or Granada. Jacked up in the back end, be it spring shackles, air shocks, or 2x4's.

buddy that just got his trick flow stroker running bought the HS rockers that Mancini sells( cheaper than the regular ones Harland Sharp sells)
He is ultra picky and liked the sweep/ geometry he sees.
Running a 620 lift 264/268 flat tappet

I agree but it didn’t work then and it sure as heck doesn’t work now. But don’t say guys can’t hook because many can, and do.

Cool look forward to hearing how it runs. I am buying the rockers from B3 racing. He sells them in a kit that also corrects the rocker/pushrod geometry. What brand of cam does he have. I have the comp solid lifter. 550 lift and 260 at .050. That's with 1.5 rockers I think. I will be useing 1.6 roller rockers. I would like to step up to 600+ lift solid lifter or a solid roller cam. But after I get the rockers/ intake back. It's going to be awhile before i can buy anything elese.lol

Hells bells that's a picture of the low side lol I have just the 002 and 003 Springs.. made in Good old Mexico... actually now the front end sits up just a tad higher as well so it's not raked quite as much...
I absolutely love the way it sits and that's the way I want it. I don't want my car all squatted down in the back.... on a side note I am helping a customer with his 51 Chevy notch the rear frame and putting airbags in so we can drop the *** in completely on the ground LOL...
Maybe Pittsburgh would be impressed with that lol...

Sorry I missed all the fun today I had a hard day at the office.. lol..
Finishing up the under dash American autowire harness connecting to this Dakota digital dash and heater controls and all along with the new glove box inner... Oh yeah we got the 400 with dart heads almost fired but alas the starter was junk.. maybe tomorrow..

That is pretty awesome to be able to just take them out of the box and slap them right on top of the motor!! I for one hope they're everything you expect them to be...

Those are what I am running and they are pretty nice, the geometry is near perfect. They also sold them individually without shafts and hold downs for a paltry $340 shipped. I was set to go with B3 but ran out of money (imagine that) and had the mancini rockers on the shelf already.
