That's about 2100 rpm at 65mph. 28" tire with 4.10s and an A500 trans.

Thanks, my next question was going to be what holds them in. Looks great!
I hopped in the car this morning to go grab a coffee from Tim Horton's. 140 miles and 3 hours later I got home. The car ran great but if I had brought some tools with me I would have pulled a couple degrees of timing out of it at my first stop. What a great way to spend a Saturday morning!

Just an observation here, the clips are nearly impossible to

...nearly impossible to WHAT??! I'm dyin here! Haha.
Not sure if it was fine or very fine steel wool and a bowl of water to keep it clean. I tried 2000 wet paper but it left scratches. Oh and lots of elbow grease. LolWhat's your technique?
And you asked yourself...... "What could go wrong".... Keep chipping at it...Still messing around with getting reverse to work...started working again but now it's not again. ..

I know what is wrong with it...I drained it, pulled the pan a the lip seal on the rear servo is dangling in the bore....And you asked yourself...... "What could go wrong".... Keep chipping at it...
Replacing front cross member and passenger floor pan on my 71 Demon 340. Hard work drilling out all the spot welds and cutting out the pan.Thought this might be a good thread to quickly show what you are up to with your cars today, as an alternative for people who don't have full build threads for their cars.
I'll kick it off!
Today I bolted on the new Cragar wheels and tires and took it for a quick test drive with no front or rear glass. What a great traction upgrade! 295/50/15s in the back and 155/80/15s in the front. Gave the car a whole new attitude.
I also installed my new Champion Radiator that I bought from Challenger Gary a couple of months ago. It works great so far, ran it for about a half hour with a single 16 inch electric fan and the temp stayed very steady.
Now I am removing the old cheapo headers and installing a new set of Doug's along with a mini starter that I pulled from the local U-Pull junk yard a couple of hours ago for 22 bucks.
Trying to get it driveable for Mopars in the Park. I live about 20 minutes from the fairgrounds so it shouldn't be too bad a drive with the 4.56 gears. Really looking forward to meeting some members!

Motor's in, time to get everything connected! Eager to get this car back on the road, I haven't driven it since last July.

I made some spacers for the motor mounts out of 5/16" plate to keep the headers off of the tie rod ends. They seem to work, at least when the car isn't moving....

The fit is great...once you get them in. This is my first set of headers, I installed them the first time last summer and yes, lots of cussing. But I’m sure if you’ve done it before it would be easier.
The steering linkage needs to come apart, engine needs to be raised, starter removed, and the oil filter removed. When I first installed them, I didn’t think about tie rod clearance, so the passenger side ended up rubbing quite a bit.
When I dropped the engine in this time, I made some 5/16” spacers for the engine mounts. Now the headers clear the tie rod ends nicely. I also ended up melting the speedo cable, so I’m wrapping them in certain places and relocating the cable where I can.
