I take it the carb is still working good for you.
I'm going to the track Friday night to try out the new M1 single plane I installed this winter - all else the same.
it should require more jetting - but it all depends on the engine combo -and how high you are spinning it - single planes for the most part need higher rpms to get the most out of them. your performer RPM is a good manifold to 6000 - I personally think beyond 6000 it falls off and your torquer...
why don't you run a 26 or 27" tall tire and keep the 3.91s. the if you drive it on the street with a 27 or 28" tire it will be a lot more livable, and it will work better with your 1st gear launch.
If its an 89 -360 it should be an LA style roller cam engine - gives you more options later on for upgrades - like a roller cam. no difference in 4bl/2bl - pistons are ±.080" in the hole. With your J heads @ ±72cc it will be a bit low on compression but still a good deal to start with.
I used...
check out www.4secondsflat.com Don has a good radiator that has a cooling core of 19" x 22" and just covers the opening (ie tanks are outside the opening). if that doesnot cool you car you have other problems.
Mine is the smaller 19 x 17 version and cools my 388ci just fine.
if that be true, then why would the boiling point of a mixture be higher than water only?
As far as the plastic fans - they make great toys for kids to play with.
Does anyone know if there is an aluminum 4 bolt master cylinder for front disc brake, rear drum cars? A-body. A part number would be most helpfull - if there is.
My dyno sym gives 454hp peak @ 6000 and 457tq peak @ 4000 rating the Airgap as a Dual plane High flow. If you use the Dual plane Max flow setting the hp jumps to 500 - a bit much me thinks. Either way you will have a great combo.
