    Car won't start

The wires he's referring to will be thicker than all the other wires. I'm not sure on the 67, but in the 66, they have ring terminals that attach to the back of the Amp gauge. Unless you disconnected the battery, they are live wires all the time. If you remove the instrument panel and...

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

I pulled the trim rings off and can't find any markings whatsoever. Sorry man, I know I tried finding one several years ago to replace one that has some curb rash and couldn't find the squared off edges.

A-bodies at Carlisle Chrysler Nationals 2024

I should have noted the time to save you from watching all of it. I'm thinking it was before the middle, lol.

    Demon won't start

AJ is a pretty smart cookie! Change the ballast resister, but I wouldn't buy a new coil just yet...unless it will make you feel better. Sometimes I do something just so I can sleep better at night!!

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Installed a Hellwig front sway bar on my 66 Barracuda. Pretty straight forward install. It tucks up nice and close. End links are angled a little more than I like, but is needed to clear the strut bars.

    Old man’s memories

1974 Dodge Van headed up to Valley View (overlook) in the middle of winter with snow on the ground in Pennsylvania. Van got stuck in the snow. The only thing I could think of was to take off my Woolrich jacket and put it under the real tire. Got out, but burned a hole in my jacket. So I...

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Hey Dan, The rings were on the car when I bought it 11 years ago. I'll have a look to see if I can find any markings/part numbers. I'm searching for 15" trim rings myself.

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Changed the rear 14" ralleye wheels wheels with 215's with a new set of 15" x 7" ralleye wheels with Cooper 245's. Certainly toughens up the look! (Still need 15" trim rings) Saving up for the fronts next but going to stick with 215's.

Does This Debunk the "Coolant Can Flow Through the Radiator Too Fast" Idea???

I put one in the 5.9 Magnum when I added a cam snout extension. Seems to cool better, but I haven't been in a lot of stop and go to really test it.

    Guy Feiri

He looks so young! Guess he was after fame for a long time. I had dinner at his BBQ joint in Louisville. Food was good and thankfully it was a company outing so they paid.

    Swinging for Divorce…

The house we recently bought has a Google Nest Learning Thermostat. At first, I was leary but I love it. It didn't take it long to learn our thermostat habits. Now we hardly touch it and it dies what we want!!!

    What "makes" a 66 Barracuda a Formula S ??

This. @junkyardhero got it. 273 HP (10.5:1 pistons, stronger cam, 4 bbl. Sway bar, tach. I have an original brochure at home with the list. If I remember (I'm three years older than my 66 Barracuda), I'll attach a picture of the list.

    904 dipstick stuck???

Optical illusion. Glad we ruled that out, lol. Try pulling it out and rotating it some before trying to put it back in. If that doesn't work, get a helper to put it in while you get underneath and listen to hear if it's hitting the bottom of the pan.

    904 dipstick stuck???

I use the regular black in the caulking tube. Easier to get a larger bead.

    Some 360 magnum questions

Yup, pull those gaskets and, like @318willrun mentioned, use 3/8" bead, or 7/16" LOL on the front and back china wall. A little extra on the corners. I like Right Stuff gasket maker.
