The new holleys have a larger sight plug that is clear. It is wrapped in metal as well. As far as the old ones I have seen a few break. I bet due to heat and such from a running engine. You sure don't want that leak.

That was not out when I did mine. Seems like a similar idea but I'm not sure if the foam will do quite the same as the coil that rock valley has. You have to let us know how it works.
