Thats an awesome car mate! Cant wait to see some video of it when done :) What about modifying the pipes instead of the car? The trouble pipe looks like it could just get that extra kink taken out of it to flatten it back against the motor more?

Do the cone style sure grips need friction modifyer too? Thought it might just be a clutch pack thing??

Thankx for the reply, and oil recommendation, was just about to search it. I didn't tear the gasket but i did forget the last synchro....Oops. No harm done though, it was hanging on my tool board above my bench and i realised straight away.;)

Personally i'd be going the .990" bars, i don't think the .920"s would be enough to keep the firm feel. I don't think the .990"s would be too harsh if you are wondering either.:-D
