Welcome! I lived in Bellevue NE for 3 years, left in 2000. They used to have a couple of good U-Pull-It places in Omaha.

There will be a casting number on the left (driver's) side of the block that will tell you for sure the engine size. I think there's also some numbers stamped on the block at the front end of the driver's side head on later engines that will give info but I'm not up on all of that. You'll...

You might want to double check on the engine size. The turquoise isn't the correct color for a 273 & neither are the valve covers on your engine. It's an old car so those things could have been changed but you might have a bigger engine too.

    72 Dart Custom w/55k Miles

Beautiful car. Like most, I'm partial to two doors but it's still VERY nice. I think you'll notice a BIG difference when you replace the tires. You might try a reverse flush on the heater core but I'd imagine that's been tried before. New core shouldn't be too expensive. Just a bit of a...

    68 Hemi Barracuda

Welcome! Don't know part numbers but the flex hoses at the master are some type of regular brake hose. Look at flexible brake hoses for Mopars from around 67 or 68 & you'd probably find them. Might find some info on Big Block Dart site. Hemi Denny, don't you know the answer?

I'm new, but the car is old.

Welcom to FABO! Nice car! Not sure how it is on your car but on mine there were two sets of bolt holes holding the seat to the tracks. One set moved the seat back a bit & tilted the back toward the rear. I drove my car with the seat all of the way back & still got cramped a bit on long...

    Help!!!

I've pretty much finished up on the construction of my shop. Just need to finish insulating/interior finishing stuff, finish up my radiant floor heating, & get the main power connected. Was waiting on money until recently. As far as the Barracuda, I've been accumulating parts. No actual...

    Help!!!

I sure didn't bring this to the top, but I'm always in the market for parts for my car. I'm not going to be on here much for a while. Problems with my anti-virus software. Last thing I need is an infection on the PC! I'll try to check in every once in a while. Software company is sending a...

    Need Head Help?

Are you in Albert Lea? If you are, you're actually kinda' close to me. Only about 260 miles.

    help with x heads!

I think they used X heads on TA's, but I'm not sure. The TA heads will have the same ports, valves etc as a regular 340 head. They're just machined differently where the pushrods go through. If the heads are still on the motor just pull the valve covers and look at the rocker arms. The...
