Speedway roller rockers for small block?

I've had Pro/Form rockers on my 340 for about 10 years. I had one loosen up on me when I first put them on. But I figure it was installer error! ME!!! Haven't had any problems with them. Might be going on the new Blueprint Engines motor that I have coming to replace the old 340. Its a 408 stroker!

Leaking oil - right before Mopars in the Park, too.

Man that bites! Was hoping to see ya again. If it's just a intake gasket leaking. You should be able to just replace it. Couple evenings should do it. Hope to see you there!

Best Method of Sealing Timing Cover/Oil Pan

I don't know of any one gasket that covers both. But the best way I know of is. Install the front cover first. then use a small dab of silicone sealer where the pan gasket meets the front cover. If any one knows of a late model rubber gasket that's fits the old style LA blocks let me know...

What convertor for a 482 lift cam

I got a M.P. 484 lift cam in mine. Have a B&M Hole shot. Convertor I've had forever. 3000 stall. Works great. I'm glad i don't have power brakes. Wouldn't have enough vacumn for it. But all in all. Nice set up. I have found racing to bring it up to 2000 at the line. Than nail it. Go's up...

    Timing

Sounds like the set up I got in mine. I run about the same timing. Run about 30-32 on the street. When I take it racing. I go up to 36 at 2500 rpm. Runs great at the strip. I haven't beenable to run 93 around here. Only can get 91. Still no ping on the street. I do run turbo blue at the...

Pissed off with motor, want to change

Check all the connections. Check to make sure the ECU/module is grounded good to the fender or firewall. I had a /6 that would idle all day fine. You try to put some rpm's to it. It would buck and fart all over the place. Had a 70 Cuda that would heat up the coil so bad that it wouldn't...

Mostly stock 340 engine what Spark plugs

I was always one to use Champions in my Mopars. Till I couldn't get the Duster to idle good. Was looking on moparts racing site and seen the guys using Autolites. I put them in the Duster and haven't had any problems after that point. Use the Autolites.

I have a stock style alt on the Duster. Stock pulleys. I take it to 6400 when I go racing. Street or strip. Haven't lost one yet. I'd also say to check alignment. Try a stock alt for ***** and giggles.

    What Engine to go with

If it is a orignal 360. Pull it and keep it. Get another 360 and a stroker kit. Bang for the buck and lighter weight than a big block. But that's just my opinion. You know what they say about them! Like a** holes, everyone's got one1 LOL!

    3.90 YES or NO?

I got 3.91s in the Duster right now. they are great all around gear set. Going to pull them out for a trade. Going back to my orignal 3.23s for the street driving. Trading the 3.91s for a set of 4.56s for racing. Thats a Wow factor for putting your head back.

Poll - Which would you build?

Just my thought. Build a 360 stroker, with the hopes of 450-500 hp. I got a 340 in the Duster. Was told .030 over, MP cam, 484 lift, KB pistons. Dont know the numbers on the pistons. It has stock late 340-360 stock heads. On the calulator, with the weight of the car and what I run the...
