Trying to hook up my water pump and alternator and ran into a few problems. The water pump pulley runs on the outer two grooves and the alternator runs on the inner grooves. Is there a water pump pulley with a larger offset that will work or am i forced to out spacers on the alternator to move...

found a engine out of a 1985 van with 76k on it. Either that or a 1985 truck engine with 96k on it. is there any differences i would run into when swapping the van engine into my 1984 1 ton? or is it pretty much a straight bolt in and go?

I am sticking a 360 into my duster and will need to get some mounts for it. I am using the k-frame out of a 1974 360 dart sport. The 360 is pushing out 390hp and 400ft/lbs. what is my best option for mounts and where can i buy them?

hey there 69brandx, if you want to fit a big block into an a-body, your best bet is to buy conversion mounts from schumacher or another brand. It will be a tight fight and you will probably need to do some cutting to fit headers in there. do you already have a 440 for it? another route you may...

the 360 blocks were "supposed" to have thicker walls up to 1972. whether this is true or not depends on who you talk to. some say its true. some say otherwise. Either way, your best bet is to get it sonic checked to see what you really have to work with. Cheap insurance and a peace of mind

because they had a better overall engine combo. The octane rating you'll need isnt driven by compression rating alone. you must factor in the timing, ability to keep the engine cool etc... I would imagine the quality of gas was also better in the 60s
