69 Dart
Alterkation up front
SS Springs out back
Stock Width A-body 8.75 rear
Wilwood's all around (12" so I can run 15's as well)
BBP Axles
Rear Axle moved back to center in wheel well
Offset Shackle (no mini-tub or relo)
17x8 American Muscle Mustang Bullits up front (5.72 BS)
225/45/ZR-17 BF Goodrich g-Force COMP-2 up front
17x9 American Muscle Mustang Bullits in rear (5.94 BS) - likely 7/16" spacers - not finalized
255/45/ZR-17 BF Goodrich g-Force COMP-2 out back
No rolling of quarter lip
275's would have been a little too tight and likely resulted in rolling quarter lip. I'll start with 255's and go from there.
Looks great, got any more pics to show what it looks like closer up? ALso, what do the rim run$$$
15x4 165/80R15 15x8 5.5BS 275/60R15
Any suspension mods to fit the 275's?
Nice! I like the wheels. BTW is that roof painted or vinyl? If painted can you post a better picture?
[here's the link where i purchased my wheels if your interested, they have 17's, 18's, sbp, bbp, in different styles and are very well priced!QUOTE]
Am I reading the price right....$137 for 2 wheels??
15x3.5 26 in moroso front runner, mickey thompson wheels 15 x10 with 4.5 bs. w 30x9 hoosier lt.wt. radial some tweaking done to the front of wheelwell the rest is stock.28 in tire works fine wo. tweaking .why dont img. show up ?
I've acquired a set of 7J 17" Thrashstar Showwheels last week and trial fitted one on the front of my Dart.
They have 4.25" offset, which (unfortunatly) is only 3mm more than the current wheels on the car, and on which the tire rubs the fender during steering and just a slight suspension compression.
The tire in the pic is a 225/50/17.
It is a little closer to the fender's edge than the 215/60/15 tire I currently run with, so it will rub for sure.
I will need to find/match up a tire that gives a slightly more room, without looking too small. Thinking of going with 215/45/17, or 205/50/17.
Might even going as far to roll the fender lip a bit, or work the entire fender's wheel opening outwards to get more tire room.
Give it some negative camber,.5-1 degree-, also are you having problems with the front edge of the fender? I run no front fender braces on mine and 5.7-5.8+ caster which moves the tire back some too. I ended up trimming my lips at dead center top because it still barely rubbed pulling into my driveway at angle. After a year of it barely touching, I still couldn't tell where from any type of marks so I guessed, top center. Well it helped but once in a while, probably 10% of the time, I still hear it.I've acquired a set of 7J 17" Thrashstar Showwheels last week and trial fitted one on the front of my Dart.
