Fuel line clip on outside of frame rail. This is 3/8 st st line, not the original.

Other arrow points to the brake cable. It should be clipped to the axle housing.

A bit off topic, but back in the day I had a friend who somehow obtained fuel from the airport to use at Atco in his hemi cuda
He always brought it in rusty looking gas cans and would strain it thru used pantyhose. Hey they were easy to obtain back then. Anyway they worked great as a filter. The exhaust smelled a bit fishey though.

That's a real pickup. :)
One tube is not factory. LOL.
Some did have a return line but I'm not aware of any with two pickups.

Typical arrangement is a short rubber hose connecting the fuel pickup to the fuel line.
Why was there a hose ?? I would not expect flex between the chassis and the tank but I'll trust Chrysler was smarter than me here.
If ther car is really stifferend up, maybe not needed???

As far as the socks go, I recall there are flexible ones like that and non collapsing ones

There are hard lines connected to the tank side that then go to both pumps.

That should be overkill by two even with 2 carbs. If pushing through a big fram filter and a cool cans then the electric might be needed.
Race fuel is often easier to get than AvGas. Whatever its tuned for, stick with it unless there is a good reason the engine would prefer a different formulation. I assume you will go someplace closer than Atco now.

Thanks, I will see when we get everything with the motor back together.

Holley/Demon Carb stumble (posts 472 - 491) See in particular the sketches of Cudafever's system in post 485, and his tests (488-491) that show lower pressure allows more volume to the carb.

If you ever have to mess with pressure and delivery, the posts that link goes to may be very helpful. Depending on the regulators and arrangement (dead head, bypass after or before), higher pressure at the regulator can reduce delivery volume to the bowl!

Goal tonight was to get the speedo cable out and hook the chains to the motor for pulling... got that done... and the engine out, pulled the engine separate from the trans... engine is locked but no battle getting the converter off which surprised me :) Converter looks like new.. i expect a ton of rust and garbage from sitting 45 years.. might call A&A or Cope to see if they will sell me the correct parts to convert to 24 spline so i'm not just guessing.

Also need to find someone to haul away the poly..

Well, I guess he's got an excuse since his heritage is from Myanmar. " He " would be my last tenant. But, I would think a Lieutenant Colonel in the army should know better. Apparently stepped on the PVC tubing in the pool house and broke it. Then tried to seal it up with who knows what tape. LOL. Spent a few hours today fixing the issue for my new tenant. It would spray a shower everywhere inside the pool house when you were trying to run the pump. I removed the old automatic chlorinator since we never used it since the pool was new. No, I do not like plumbing any better than anybody else. Lol.

Sigh. Can't like that Mitch. Plumbing repairs like that not much fun. At least PVC isn't too expensive.

Goodevening!
Was hot today, didnt get the 400 moved. Cleaned up around the yard and visited friends this evening. Havent seen them since last fall. Hopefully this late night will help with a little more sleep. And 7 to 8 hours of driving tomorrow.

Well, was a solid 4 hours. I will take it.
Morning!
20° and rising to 30°. Thats hot in canadian degrees. Mid 80’s.
One reason to take off early and beat some traffic. Should be 1/2 way there mid afternoon. Of course Kimmie is booking a cheap hotel, as long as its not pay by the hour we should be ok.
