    simply vanished !!!

Gremlins, they're everywhere! They get more plentiful as you get older. I had my steering wheel off yesterday trying to figure out why my horn kept blowing when I turned the wheel. I went to put the steering wheel back on, and I couldn't find the nut that holds it on. I looked all over, three...

    Gave up and sold out...

I was thinking about doing the same thing last year. I stuck it out and got a renewed interest in my Barracuda. I'm putting air conditioning in it right now. My first new car was a '71 Challenger. It would be cool if my last one would be a challenger.

    Crankshaft pulley

i am putting air conditioning in my '65 Barracuda with a 360 in it this winter. I ran into a problem when I started to mount my compressor. The compressor bracket I bought from Bouchillon performance uses the outer groove on the pulley for the compressor. On my setup, the water pump/ alternator...

    Dogs & pills....

Always had good luck with peanut butter. If you have to resort to drastic measures, you can pinch the dog's cheeks to open his mouth. Put the pill as far back in his mouth as you can get it and hold his mouth shut. Gradually release your grip. Watch for the dog to lick his nose. When the nose is...

    any motorbike enthusiasts?

A little update on my bike. Mecum has a 1951 model up for auction on April 13. This one is totally restored. The description says it was made by a Swedish company. There is a Monark bicycle company in Sweden which I believe is still in business, but hey did not make these bikes. The Monark...

    Sweating hoses

Just replaced my heater hoses about 2 weeks ago. The same sticky residue, I am thinking it must be the coolant soaking through. I first noticed it this winter. The hoses are 4 years old Gates brand.

How many are using the factory amp meter

I used a Sunpro voltmeter. Took the guts out of the housing and mounted it in place of the ammeter. It was almost a direct fit. Just a little grinding, filing where the studs go. I had to do some minor trimming to the original ammeter face to get it to mount on the new gauge. The picture shows...

Anyone else dream of E-Body ownership?

The first new car I ever bought was a 1971 challenger. It was a low optioned 318 car. It cost me $3000 and a 1966 ford falcon futura. It had an overheating problem that the dealer never fixed, also the drum brakes were a little erratic to say the least. What I did like about it was the way it...
