One thing to check would be the accelorator pump in the carborator somtimes the rubber goes bad, now more frequently with the ethonal in the fuel. TF

There is also another ajustment bolt on the bottom of the distibutor that will give you more adjustment if that is still not enuff jump one tooth. TF

Stock or modified? So many variables with aftermarket intakes and such. Maby try hotter or colder plugs to even out the differance. Mine burn so close to the same the differance is not an issue, mine is not close to stock. TF

I used rustolium gloss protective enamel from home depot. The car was in prime for eight years before i did this, i just fine sanded it and cleaned it before rattle canning it orange. My finger hurt for a week i almost couldn't spray the cans by the end! TF

About 35-40 bucks in this one. All done in the drive way, even had to turn it around to keep it in the sun. And some years later it has a perfect patina to it!!! It isn't perfect by any means but it runs everyday and turns heads! TF

Bill, It is a coolcharger unit off a GMC Yucon. They have gone out of buisness but it will be fun to learn on and maby upgrade to bigger procharger later. TF

Adjust the valves to spec. check all vac line for cracks/leaks. PCV valve working correctly. Fuel filter, maybe fuel pump. I could go on but it's a never ending cycle;-) Oh the coil, maybe the condenser(year applies). Have you looked into the Petronix unit to upgrade to EI? TF

Are you going to purge the waste gate in the engine bay or have it plumbed out of it?(Since it's on the exaust side) I've only seen them on boost side not the exaust is why i ask?
