Just pulled my axles out for a gear change,the bearings are 2 years old,timkins.should I add more bearing grease to them,before I slide them back in.cheers.

8 3/4 323 gear 489 case. all new timkin bearings, rebuilt sure grip+ clutches i have added 1 bottle of ford friction modifier,going straight no noise nothing, but turning left or right if clunks and clinks.is it because the clutches are garbing off and on.and thoughts.new 360 runs strong tho.

Going to swap out a 8 1/4 for a 8 3/4 may have cut my driveshaft, there is a shop neer me that cuts driveshafts, he says he cuts and true them up but does not balance i would think that it needs to be done. thoughts please.

JUST GOT THIS MOUNT and there is some play with it,cant remember outhers being this way.I grad the rubber part and can move the hole thing side to side,should it be solid or not one would think it will make a huge clank going from P ,D R .

So close to installing the engine transmission,and that happened.Just went to put on the 2 leavers and than the kick down pin push in,so what am i looking at to fix it, going to have to take it to the tranny shop,so close.

This kick down was on my 318 2bb,B body Satellite different than the 1 I am used too.So will it work with a 4bb set up,or is there a way to mod it so it will work,trying to save on this build.Cheers.

Dont know much about the 8 1/4 rear, so after geting to know my Duster I have been into the throttle,from a dead stop foot of the brake nail it booth tires burn rubber leaving 2 black marks, when i foot brake only 1 black burn out.So what do I have.

I have the 904 with the B&M star shifter,it appears the cable from the shifter is going to be in the way of my kick down,is something wrong with what i have done so far,i cant figure it out.Have a look.,I have used this shifter in the past but with the 727,not the 904 should be the same set up.
